"Called first because I wanted a K-cup filter, which is the size of a K-cup, and weighs nearly nothing, but the cheapest shipping was listed at $11.22. The girl that answered was very understanding and thought that sounded a little outrageous too, so she instructed me to place the order and that she would go in and fix it, so I did. A few hours later I still hadn't seen any sort of refund on my account, and I had the impression she was going to do it right away so I called and she told me it wouldn't be done till the end of the day because of the way their system worked. Waited a few days and still hadn't seen the refund, so I tried sending a message through their website, but all three times it came back, so I tried sending it as a reply from the order confirmation email and that worked. The next day I got an email apologizing for the oversight and I got the refund for most of the shipping, so all was well. Then I got home from work, and my wife said the mailman showed up with the package with postage due because they had used the same box for the next day shipping to send it priority which isn't allowed, so I owed money. My wife knew of the problems I had been having getting refunded part of the shipping, so she knew we shouldn't owe any money. The postman suggested we send it back and let Kitchen & Company deal with the postage so that's what she did. I sent a message to them telling them what happened and wasn't sure what they wanted to do. I said I would understand if they wanted to just cancel the order and refund my money so that they didn't end up paying even more to ship this little item, but I never heard back. I waited a couple more days and then wrote to them saying that I assumed they were waiting for the package to show up before they did anything, but I still was wondering if that was the case. I never got any reply. Meanwhile I got this email wondering about my impressions, but I wanted to wait before filling out this form to see if I ended up getting a reply, or if they resent the item to make me happy since this wasn't really my fault, but never saw a word. I did finally get refunded for the product and the shipping, But never any sort of apology or explanation at all, so that was a little disappointing since the girl who helped me to begin with was very nice. Was kind of left feeling like it was my fault even though it wasn't, so that's disappointing.

Today I received a call from Elana, the same girl I originally spoke with, and she's very nice! I think I somehow my order and the subsequent problems just slipped through the cracks, because they have been very helpful today and certainly made up for any of the dilemma with my original order. Granted, if not for the poor original review, I'm not sure if any of my correspondence would have been answered, but as of now with how they have vastly improved the situation, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt!"
