I recieved email of invoice within 24 hours and shipping confirmation withing 48 hours of placing order. Recieved item via USPS in less than a week. Think the shipping and handling is a little high but overall very good service. Suggest placing stock status on website."

"Overall experience: grade "B". I ordered a knife on 12/7/09 but needed for a gift on 12/16/09. I was concerned when I received the order confirmation because there was no actual shipping information either on the website when I placed the order or in the email. I waited 2 days, and no further email came saying if the order was shipping, on backorder, etc and I was on a tight deadline. I did some checking online of Knife Supply.com and Ability Web Services, and seeing this website as well as the BBB, my concern heightened.
I emailed knifesupply.com's customer service and also called the phone number, stating my concern about the reviews I saw online and whether the product would be shipped for me to get it on time. Once I stated that I was concerned because of less than stellar online reviews, I quickly got an email back from Shawn, who assured me the product would be reordered from his supplier that day (12/10) and would ship on 12/11 for me to receive it by the 15th. Lo and behold, the product arrived sooner than expected....12/14/09. I was very pleased with Shawn's response after I expressed my concern, and the price was at least $20 cheaper than anywhere else. If you give yourself enough time to order, you should be fine, but as I said, I did get a quick response as soon as I expressed my concern due to online reviews.
So overall, I am pleased with the product and price, customer service could stand to be more proactive about letting you know if stuff is on backorder or when it's expected to ship. If you have a rush order, it could be harrowing, but if you have time, I'd have no qualms about ordering from knifesupply.com.

My payment for a knife through Knife Supply.com cleared the bank. There is no way to contact these people by phone. Their phone mailbox is full and I've sent my number to a pager. No response. I have emailed Ability Web Service 3 times with no response. The 3 sites they own all refer to the same phone number.
This "company" is obviously a front for thieves. It is a scam. "

Excellent prices on a large number of top brand knives. Fast shipping using USPS Priority Mail. Confirmation emails for order confirmation and when order is shipped. Easy to navigate web site and check out procedure. They do not charge until order is shipped.
Cons:
No tracking of orders/shipping. No indication whether items are in or out of stock. Nearly impossible to find a contact telephone number."
