"I have been a customer for a few years now. But I will never order from them again. If you receive your order then everything is great but the first time their is a problem that involves customer service you are screwed. My order was sent USPS priority. Noticed tracking showed an issue. After 7 days I contacted Knifeworks and they said to wait few more days. So on the tenth day I contacted them again to be told they had to investigate the matter and it would take 10-14 days to resolve the matter. I don't blame them for the USPS issue but as a company they should replace my order and resolve the issue without me the customer having to wait even longer for something that I have paid for. And at no time did they contact me to communicate any information on this matter. I will never again buy from this company."

"My experience with Knife Works is minimal, but outstanding! I was looking for earlier models of Kizer knives, for my collection, when I came across Knife Works, which I was not aware of before. I found 4 NIB knives, from 5-8 years ago, at old discount prices, i.e, $100 less than is being charged on the secondary market, when you can find one. So I bought them, which was when the great service began. First I got immediate confirmation of my order, and immediate shipping. They must have gone out the same day I ordered them, because they were ordered on a Wednesday, and they were in my mailbox on Friday! They are not next door, either. They are in Louisiana, and I am in Massachusetts. They are practically the only knife retailer I know which actually honors its shipping promises (or at least it did this one time)! They promised 2-3 day shipping, and they delivered!
There was one issue, which I should mention, and that is that one of the knives I ordered, an Activ Bantam with rainbow ano, turned out to be tip-up (not the usual or preferred orientation), and left-hand carry ONLY! the description never mentioned this. Ordinarily, I would return it, however, it is for my collection. I don’t need to carry it, and they are hard to find, so I will keep it. It is a very beautiful knife!
Apart from that, my experience with Knife Works was excellent!"
"First, If I could give 0 stars I would have! I ordered a Spyderco Galley-V Sharpener. It had one severely bad warped stone. They refused to pay return shipping. Their return policy is bad business. I could understand if I didn't like the product, then yes I would pay return shipping, but not on something that is clearly defective! I sent them pictures as well! I expected to receive a product that was new, and undamaged! I will never do business here again!! "

When you order a knife you may not be getting a “NEW” knife! When someone returns a knife they go back on the shelf and sent out to the next person. When you return a knife for a refund because the knife is off centered, rusted, used, etc it may take up to a month to get your refund Because the owners will not let your refund be processed because they have so many returns it’s unbelievable so they process a few a week!
The owner is very rude to customers and doesn’t care even though customers is what keeps him in business!
Bench made knives are not supposed to be shipped out of the country but they found a loophole. Automatic knives are not supposed to be shipped through USPS only UPS or Fed ex but they have been doing it
This is all FACTS not opinions as I personally was told to do it to save him money
People if you don’t want to wait on your refund (they deduct shipping as well), or want a better chance of purchasing new shop elsewhere
He will not hire men (discrimination)

I had to pay extra $25 for insurance and fees after I already complete the order.
They claim that they have a shipping policy but they don't notify you about these charges and you can't tell how much they will charge you at the end because it depends on the package weight."

"I ordered a Bear and Son 117S knife from this online retailer. I placed the order on 9/10 and received an order confirmation immediately. On 9/12 (the Monday after), I received e-mails that my order was both ready to ship and shipped with a tracking number. I chose the standard shipping and I believe the package arrived on Thursday (could be wrong) and was impressed with how quickly it arrived. The knife showed no signs of being defective or damaged as far as I could tell (This is my first balisong) and was the correct product. I had no reason to contact their customer service so I cannot comment on that."

"I have not received my knife yet, cant comments on the product itself. The freight charge is ridiculous. I've bought more than 20 knives from the US via different sites. Knifeworks.com has the worst shipping cost. They will charge you more on freight after your order has been confirmed. Some knives have competitive price though.
