"When I ordered the knife, I elected to waive the authorization requirement to my apartment building because I'm hardly home so I wanted it left at my doorstep. However, when I received the email that notified me that my knife has been shipped, I noticed that it indicated that I must sign for the package. So, I sent 2 emails to 2 different people at knife merchant to ask if this was indeed the case and reminded them that I elected to not have to sign for the package. I received no response. I was happy with the speed of the shipment, but the customer service experience was aweful! If I check the box that states that I would be waiving my right to authorize the package, then I expect that that'll happen."
