“I'm truly sorry and disappointed to here this Mr. Stern. The Gift Certificate was of course mailed out the day that you ordered it and you are so close to us that it should have taken one day to get to you. We used USPS which has been very reliable for many years. However, with their adding Sunday delivery after having cut staff, we had many problems with delayed shipments this year. I would not have thought that we would need to use Federal Express for a simple mail delivery, but apparently that would have been the better option. If we can do something to remedy this for you, please don't hesitate to ask.”
