"This is literally the first consumer review that I have ever written and I am only doing so because I just had the worst experience with customer service of Kodakgallery.com. This was my first experience ordering a photobook online with Kodak Gallery and it was extremely disappointing! I created a book for my first wedding anniversary that contained pictures of our honeymoon and first year of marriage. I was planning to provide this as a gift and reminisce on our first year together. I needed the book by Friday in time for our anniversary on Saturday. When I called to confirm that it would arrive by Friday I was assured that it would. I even communicated that if I would not receive it by Friday I will not need the book it at all. I was told it would definitely arrive by Friday. Friday morning I tracked the package and saw that it was scheduled to arrive on Monday. The customer service rep apologized that I was not given the correct information but said that the order was never going to make it here by Friday based on the timing of the order. She apologized for the “misunderstand” and said there was nothing that she could do. I suggested that she pull up the customer service recording of my conversation. She said that “as a courtesy" she would give me $12.50 store credit for the shipping, which contains an expiration date! The book was $180! I am a reasonable person and if I was offered some discount on the book as a result of receiving incorrect information I would not be writing this right now but she said the $12.50 credit was all that she could do. Clearly you cannot trust what you are told by customer service as there was no consideration given to the fact that I assured by Kodak that it would be here in time.
This is a horrible service and they clearly do not take any responsibility for what they communicate to customers. BEWARE.

"Horrible color reproduction and visible sharpness loss on pictured ordered. Deep greens turned out a mild yellowish-green, also deep blues turned out to be a light cyan. Prices are decent but for what you get a total waste of money. I would look else were for photo prints."

"This is our favorite picture site to keep/share/order our pictures from. We upload our pictures and share them with friends as well as order prints and albums regularly for us to keep. Picture quality is excellent. They are even better than London Drugs, Shoppers Drug Mart, Wal-mart, costco, Superstores just to name a few. Their price is cheap is shipping is around 1-2 weeks depending on how fast they develop the pictures. The best thing is we can have them ship the pictures to your local futureshop/bestbuy for free and pick them up yourself."
"Ordered a Zi8 from the Kodak store and it shows processing for 12 days. Chatted with customer service 7 days after order and they said they would have to get an answer from Corporate and they would email me in 24-48 hours. After 5 more days no email so chat with them again. They state same thing need another 24 -48 hours. Poor service can't even process an order in 12 days. This is from the maker of the camcorder!"
"I have been using "Ofoto" now for 6 years and have only had 1 problem with an incorrect order. The one order that was incorrect was remedied promptly and to my satisfaction.
I do think that they are a little pricey for enlargements, though."
"Their quality control is terrible. I sent a photo book to my son as a gift. The photo images they printed were defective and they are making me jump through hoops to replace the defective product. They have all of my electronic images on line so they are kind of holding me hostage to their poor workmanship."

You cannot cancel any orders once submitted. You can only get a refund.
I called customer service literally 5 minutes after I pressed order and they told me they cannot alter orders at all.
Seems ridiculous"

"I made my first purchase with Ofoto last Christmas. We ordered Christmas cards with a digital picture we had taken. The turn around was very quick and the quality was excellent. We just made our second purchase for Christmas cards again. Everything was done online. I ordered the card on Sun 11/28/04 and they were in my mailbox on 12/1/04. The quality once again was excellent. So far I am very please with the service."
"I do not recommend Ofoto. There is no customer service to support this website and product. My order of negatives and prints suffered from the following problems: 1) single negatives were destroyed (according to Ofoto, "this happens sometimes and we apologize for our equipment error"); 2) my 11 rolls of 4x6 prints arrived squashed into 6 storage envelopes and with one continuous run of thumbnails (my emails requesting thumbnails by roll and 5 extra storage envelopes were declined -- "this is not our procedure" said Ofoto); 3) it was almost impossible to reach customer service -- robotlike emails were all that I achieved and this only after several efforts by me; 4) the site makes it tremnendously difficult to share photos -- the user must generate a separate email invitation for each viewer and for each roll of film to be shared. UGH! Ofoto how could you??"
"Ordered a photo album and some prints. Order shipped quickly and came packed nicely. Great quality photo album, and fine pictures."
