"bought 2x256 dual channel pc4000 hyperam from them.paid 160.00 free shipping. very good price and quick shipping. would definitely buy from them again edit:(9/28) just got a chance to preliminarily test this ram , and boy does it ever run. already got the mb to boot up to 275 with a 1-1 ratio no sweat. if the cpu will hang in there i feel like there still alot of more headroom left... we shall see
update 10/14/03 after testing the pc4000 dual channel hyperramram thoroughly i discovered 1 stick ran 258 the other around 288. this caused me alot of problems when overclocking. i emailed randy lo at tech support, and even tho they dont guarentee speeds over pc4000 and the 30 day exchange period had passed. they still offered to exchange the slow stick for a better performing stick for a nominal charge. this company really stands behind their product, in addition to their good service and price, they have definitely made me a loyal customer.. thanx randy and thanx komusa for your great service...
update.3/2/04 they now offer speed binned pc4200 and it absolutely screams, one of the guys at the overclockers forum got 301mhz(ddr 600) at 2.9v. plus it is priced very inexpensively.. "
"Ordering on-line was very easy. Immediate response and shipment was excellent. Received product 2 days later. Rating 100."
"Komusa responded so quickly to my email looking for the exact memory that I needed for my Pavilion. The payment process went very smoothly and I received my memory from CA to WV in three business days. Great customer service! Thanks Komusa!"
"Ordered 512mb of SDRAM and received it in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Komusa."
"I was in the market looking for the best prices & overall customer service I contacted by e-mail three companies only one company actually responded to my e-mails and replied several times to my comments, about Komusa was excellent not only did they answered my questions they also provided me a return policy if the part didn't work which was 2 kingmax 128mb memory for my Toshiba Tecra 8000. I benchmark my pc with sisoft-sandra & other mem prog and believe me there was 12-17% difference in the boot speed and overall applications. I will defiantly go back to this company for all my purchases."
"Bought 256mb of PC2700 ram, good price, FREE exceptionally fast USPS shiping. Will buy from again!"
"Good price, easy order, shipped as promised, product well packaged, product as described. The way all transactions should be. Will buy from again. Purchased 1 stick of KingMax 512MB DDR400 PC3200."
"Purchased 1 512MB pc133 DIMM for a belated father's day present. Good price and it came with free shipping (1st Class Mail).
A week or two later, I purchased 2 x 512MB Dual-Channel DDR DIMMS for a new machine. It was the best price I could find for name-brand RAM. Again, no problems.
My only potential issue was that I had some trouble tracking the shipments, but that may be as much an issue with the USPS as Komusa."
"I ordered a 256MB SODIMM, item as described. The bad thing is that they inflated the shipping by more than 10 times. Promised to ship with UPS ground and charged me $9. When I received the module after 2 weeks, yes, 2 weeks and the company is only 6 hrs driving distance away from my place, I finally realize that they spent only 75 cents for first class shipping. Would not recommend. "
"Relatively quick shipping. Good prices. Well packaged product. I will order from Komusa again."
"I ordered a 512Mb PC3200 Samsung DIMM in mid-March. It worked fine, however after reading about this company on Anandtech I came to discover that I was sold an overclocked PC2700 module. Their website at the time did not inform me of this. The site has since been updated. They said their website has always said it was overclocked, but it didn't say that when I ordered in March. I do know how to read and I would not have ordered this if the website had said it was really PC2700. I was informed that I couldn't return it past 15 days and if I wanted an actual PC3200 DIMM it would cost $15 more. So that means that I would have to pay an extra $15 to get something that they should have given me in the first place. "
"I ordered a 512MB stick of Samsung PC3200, and recieved a 512MB Samsung PC2700 module. The website does not state the 400MHz DDR memory for sale is an overclocked PC2700 (333MHz) module. It won't run over 185MHz at the slowest memory timings. I complained to Bill Chen (owner) he offered to refund my money minus the shipping and I was to pay for returning the PC2700. He readily admitted that the memory was indeed an overclocked PC2700 module and refused to refund the entire $68 and send out a call tag to pay for the return postage. His website still fraudulently states Samsung PC3200 is for sale, with no mention of it being an overclocked PC2700 module. I filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office of California."
"Ordered memory two sticks of 128MB PC133, stuff came dead, called for RMA and they said they will send me an email, waited for a few days didn't get an email and still havne't received one, ahhh its ok i'll eat the 40 dollars i spent with these losers who run a so called business. speak english then sell!"
"
I purchased two 256 MB rails of what was advertised and SOLD as DDR400 PC3200 Samsung memory for $38 each with free shipping.
After seeing a flag raised recently about this company's products on another forum and noticing a performance lag, I spent some time today and checked the chip numbers on Komusa's Samsung memory against the Samsung website. They sent me DDR333 PC2700 chips.
I have asked them to either refund my money or exchange the memory for what I ordered and paid for.
I contacted Komusa. They agree a mistake was made and they agreed to make it right.
++UPDATE++
Bill Chen from Komusa promptly contacted me, said they were changing the way the memory was being described on their website and offered to refund my money or replace the memory.
I opted for a replacement. Mr. Chen was courteous and said the replacement PC 3200 memory was being shipped even before I returned the PC2700 on an RMA.
Looks like their customer service is on par with the reviews they get here. I had a problem. It was resolved to my satisfaction within six hours. "
"Bought some SODIMM memory at a good price. It was packed well and shipped immediately by USPS. A very nice transaction for me."
