"I (like many others) have nothing but bad things to say about koolprint.com. I ordered business cards on "urgent" status, which was more expensive but "guaranteed" to be shipped within a certain time range. I didn't even get them within the "standard" shipping time. Then, the cards were cut crooked! I'm talking off center and actually not even square edges! The quality was absolutely unbearable. I bought a paper cutter just to make due with them until I could get things squared away!!!
So, I tried and tried to get the situation resolved, and couldn't get any kind of response from cust. service. So I called American Express and let them fight it. About 4 months later I randomly got new business cards in the mail that were still terrible quality, but at least had square edges.
I recommend that if you've had a bad experience (which is the only thing koolprint can guarantee), you should call your credit card company. They offer all these services, but if you don't use them what's the point? You will not get through to anyone at Koolprint, so try a couple of times just for good measure - then request a refund based on koolprint committing a fraudulent act. They are a fraud.
Good luck."
"Paid for an order that was never recieved,,,horrible customer service. Was lied about shipping dates for 3 weeks in a row after initial promised date. Hard to talk to manager. They are all liars and thieves..stay away!!!
I was robbed by them. "
"I wish I would have checked this site first...
I ordered a poster from Koolprint.com Oct 16, 2006. I paid a premium price and expedite fees to receive it within two weeks. They promised 8 day processing which would have had it arrive on time. It is now 7 days late and of no use to me as this was intended for a seminar Nov 4.
I called my credit card company to reverse the charge and have had a number of exchanges with Koolprint.com in which they say I must pay even though they did not ship on time. They said they would remove the expedite fee. So what. I don't need the product now.
After this disaster I was in a panic. But I found largeformatposters.com who gave me less than 24 hour service ( I picked it up) for 1/2 the price."
"I am very dissatisfied with Kooprint's products and customer service. My next course of action is to file a complaint with the BBB and State Attorney General for fraud and deceptive business practices. On behalf of a non-profit organization, I ordered 250 clear vinyl window stickers. This was a rush order to be used for an annual organization fundrasier. Koolprint charged $70 extra rush charges to meet the delivery deadline, but the deadline came and went with no stickers ever showing up. The stickers are basically useless to me at this point. After two months of requesting a refund of the rush charges, which a customer service representative of the company agrees should be refunded, I have yet to see a check. No one at the company ever answers the phone, so live communication is impossible. The online chat representatives are very unprofessional and there is no connection between their quotations and what the company is capable of delivering on. The company demands that you overnight a check before they will process your order and trys to tack on an extra $100 for payment via credit card. Clearly this is so you can't dispute their invoice. Finally their product quality is terrible. The stickers bubble up when placed on the vehicle window and look absolutely terrible. Taking advantage of a small, non-profit organization is reprehensible but Koolprint doesn't seem to care about that."
"I ordered some windscreen stickers from Koolprint over 3 months ago, i paid for them on the 17th July and approved proofs etc.
I was told it would take around 12-15 business days.
Here i am now 3 months+ later and still no sign, even worse they now ignore me completely, I send emails to any of their supposed support accounts and never receive a reply.
I am around £600 out of pocket now and this unscrupulous trader continues to do business.
I have setup a website where all those who have encountered issues trading with Koolprint can register their dissatisfaction at http://www.koolprintcomplaints.co.uk"
"Before starting with my comment, Reseller's readers should first check out KoolPrint's record with the Better Business Bureau at http://www.bbb.org/ It is truly appalling and makes one wonder how a company this delinquent stays in business.
The aforementioned invoice number refers to my second of two orders placed with KoolPrint. In both instances, the trust which I had placed in the company was abused. Promises made by the company were not honored, and this is no accident. By procedure, KoolPrint seeks to sell its products and services far beyond its capability to deliver within any reasonable and dependable time frame, and its so called department of customer service is by design a dead end for any questions and complaints concerning orders.
Simply put, KoolPrint should be avoided under all circumstances. A simple search by google will reveal the many alternative companies for one's printing needs."
"I bought this item just end of August for my student organization. The gist of it is I ordered a banner and received a banner with the incorrect colors on it. The response after over a week of trying to contact was their policy; "Koolprint is not liable for color matching or ink density on screen proofs approved by the customers. Screen proofs will predict design layout, text accuracy, image proportion and placement, but not color or density." This company hid behind their policy to stiff customers. They note also; " Koolprint is not liable for the final appearance of a duo-tone unless the customer orders a color match proof for that order/job." My best recommendation is stay away from this company. If you don't believe me, try calling them at their numbers, you will get a voice recording to leave a message or the call will just get disconnected. They do respond to emails I must say, after about 1 to 2 weeks of wait. So I warn you all again, stay far away from koolprint.com They have terrible customer service and the quality of work is very poor."
"NEVER use koolprint.com!! I order car stickers on July 24th and paid rush order process that way I can received the package by 07/31/206. Today is already 08/12/2006 and I still have not received my stickers. Their online chatters are not helpful either. I send emails and got no reply. I am very dissatisfied with this koolprint.com. I will never ever use this site again. By the way, My stickers were ordered for Student Conference and it's dated. We'll never get enough time to find the Fund for our conference now. It's all because of Koolprint.com and its employees keep giving false promised arrival dates. Koolprint.com Sucks!!"
"Ordered 2000 business cards on 06/01/2006. Company said cards would ship on the 16th to 18 business day after the order. My order is now over 2 months old an dhas not shipped. I emailed them 3 weeks ago and they said the original batch was rejected by their quality control department and that they were being reprinted. I emailed them this week and they said the second batch was rejected and they are being reprinted. I WILL NOT BUY FROM HERE AGAIN and am trying to get my money back."
"I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS SITE BEFORE I SOUGHT OUT THIS COMPANY! DO NOT USE KOOLPRINT.COM-EVER! I had a friend of mine, who happens to be a graphic designer, design my wedding invitations and we were going to use koolprint to have them printed. On the day I was told to "look out for my proofs so the order can be placed", they were NEVER sent. The company ignored my emails and did not send me my proofs until I CONTACTED THEM DAYS LATER! Needless to say they put me behind schedule almost 2 weeks. BEWARE OF THE ONLINE CHATS-they do NOT know what they are doing-they provide FALSE information, do nothing to remedy the situation, and can barely type. I cant tell you how many times they told me to call the next day to speak with the manager-but he was NEVER IN!!! Then when I finally get a hold of him, he quotes me a much higher price than what the online reps originally quoted for my invites and did NOTHING to make up for THEIR ERROR! They are so unprofessional and their customer service is the equivalent of pond scum! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY-IT IS NOT WORTH THE STRESS! And...........they can barely understand you or speak properly-when asked if they were outsourced, they told me NO WE ARE IN TEXAS! LIES LIES LIES! "
"This has been a horrible experience from start to finish. The customer service is awful. The "chat" support people are very badly informed and the phone lines are rarely picked up ( not even automated!)
We played tag with proofs for over a week because these guys kept shifting images and couldnt convert a single color properly. No one was informed when products shipped - and most shipped late even though we were paying rush charges. On top of that, of the three items we ordered, ALL had a different conversion of our PMS green. None of the greens even came close to one another. The worst of it is that I am now trying to call them to discuss this and no one is picking up any of the phone numbers listed on their site. And if that wasnt bad enough - my client to whom this shipped directly called me confused because the package came from INDIA. Which may explain why no one I spoke to seemed to have full command of the English language. Please save yourself the stress and go elsewhere!"
"Avoid KoolPrint at all costs!! In October of 2004 I used KoolPrint to produce presentation folders. The order process went very smoothly, I recieved my folders within a few weeks. 2 months ago I placed a REORDER of the SAME folders and have yet to receive them!!
It is IMPOSSIBLE to communicate with this company. If their website is not down (like it is today) they want to you to chat with service representatives that can only tell you the same information you can find on the webiste order status page. A phone number is near impossible to find on their website. If you do get through on the phone line, you'll never talk to a live person- only offer to leave a message. Of course you never get a call back.
Emailing isn't any better.
I'm wondering if I've totally lost my $1500 they've already charged to my credit card. I've worked with printers for years, and this is by far the WORST experiance I've ever had."
"Ordered 500 printed boxes from them as from their website it appeared that it would be no hassle & professionally done. The reality was much different...
They promised the order would be done in 12-14 days, so 6 weeks later my frustation was at breaking point when they finally arrived (was told numerous times that the order would be shipped 'definitely next week' or in a few days).
Then I find that nearly all the boxes have a horrible dotted roller line down the left side of the front of the box, the print is poorly aligned and some text is very close to the edges, and on many boxes I can only fold the ends in if I trim the side flaps. I am astounded that they could QA pass boxes with errors such as these.
I would bin the lot if I could afford to - I recommend you use someone else to take care of your needs - Koolprint certainly didn't seem to care about them."
"Simply the very worst customer service I have ever experienced. They missed initial agreed deadline and 3 subsequent promised revised deadlines. The original order was made dependent on reaching initial deadline. They have since been incredibly difficult to contact and when we have been able they have been incredibly obstructive. They have dissembled and lied - I am prepared and able to back this claim up if challenged - and 11 days after the original delivery date, having paid £500 up-front, we have still not received the materials we ordered. In one conversation they suggested we might accept a $100 in-store credit and this was turned down offered a £100 refund to the credit card on which the original payment was made. This, along with the brochures we ordered specifically for a trade show and which are now useless to us, has not shown up. I hope anyone reading this will seek another provider or perhaps think about using a local printer instead - we ahve found that ours can offer deals almost as good as a web based firm with direct personal contact and guaranteed results. We will never use Koolprint again - they a terrible."
"Their price for design and printing a brochure was the one of the cheapest. Yet I did 90% of the design, it would have been cheaper if I did it myself in Photoshop. Finally they submit it for printing, they said expect in 15 business days (3weeks), it takes over 6 weeks and I had to keep reminding and pushing them. Then when I finally get it, the paper use is really cheap, the colors are running. I had to toss the whole thing in the trash, I can't send this to my clients. I guess you get what you paid for, it wasn't a bargain. Cheap price, cheap output."
