"I placed an order on line at Kotula's and used my Credit card through Paypal to pay for my order. I received an email from Northern Tool on 12/4/17, telling me an item was no longer available and to call an 800 # if I wanted to replace that item with something else. I called the number and spoke to someone about what I wanted to replace the unavailable item with and he gave me a new total and told me they had not received payment yet. I checked my Paypal acct & Credit Card and the payment was showing on both sites dated 12/3/17. I was on hold for over 30 minutes waiting for whom ever I was transferred to. I finally hung up and sent a reply via email, yesterday I received another email response telling me I would need to follow up with PayPal and I could call another 800 # and give them my Credit Card information to pay for the order. I emailed back this morning telling them they needed to take care of it on their end and sent a copy of the PayPal transaction that stated the following information -
"This is a temporary authorization to make sure your payment method will cover the payment. Your payment method will be charged when KOTULAS completes your order." The amount on this transaction was $59.36, the amount the person from Northern Tool came up with was $65.78, I think he forgot to subtract the item that was no longer available. Still have not heard back from the email I sent this morning!"
