I am very sorry for the issues with this order and we understand your frustration.
You have every right to be upset, I'd just like to clarify a few points:
1. Originally, Maui 28 G3 (White) was listed on our website as "in stock" and the Maui 28 G3 (Black) was listed as a "drop-ship" item coming directly from the manufacturer with the recommendation to call to confirm availability. When you called, our rep checked LD System's inventory feed and it showed that they had it in stock. So we accepted the order. Once LD notified us that they had an error in their inventory feed, we called you to explain.
2. Since we were out of stock on the black version and so was LD, we offered you a free upgrade to the white versions (normally $200 more for the pair) due to the inconvenience. When you agreed to accept the white version, we shipped the same day.
3. Everything listed on our website as "in stock" did ship to you the same day that you confirmed the order. Only the bag listed as "Call for ETA" took a few days to ship out. Unfortunately, manufacturers don't ship as quickly as we do.
4. We shipped you two factory sealed Maui 28's. Unknown to us, LD made some changes and didn't mark the packages. You happened to receive one from the original G3 version, and one from the latest batch of G3s (those upgrades aren't even mentioned on LD's website yet).
5. Per the RMA, LD will be swapping the unit with the defective limit light for a new one. They also agreed to make sure the new unit will have the same upgrades so your two speakers match.
Again, I'm very sorry for all of the issues with this order. I hope you understand that these problems were out of our control, but we are working with you and the manufacturer to make it right.”
