"I ordered a wireless cable modem and my order was cancelled, thought they failed to notify that it had been cancelled. I e-mail twice and called once before I got a response from them. It was very hard to understand the person on the phone and I was told that the person I needed to talk to was not in the office that day. I was told that the modem was out of stock and when I asked when they could expect it to be back in stock the reply I got was "Not any time soon. Call back next week." If the item is out of stock, then their web site should say that and not let you order it."
"Horrible - do NOT order from these people!!!
I ordered some compatible ribbons for an old line printer we use in our business. The web page clearly stated that they came in packs of 6 for $12; it states this in four (4) separate spots on the product information page. This was too much less than other retailers, so I took the time to call (long distance because their toll-free number did nothing but pick up and immediately disconnect) and ask if this was really for a package of 6 ribbons. I was assured that it was, so I ordered 4 packages of 6 ribbons each for a total of 24 ribbons.
First surprise - shipping was $20. 24 of these ribbons should cost about $7-8 to ship, so I knew I was being gouged. Oh well - the cost difference of the ribbons still made it worth it.
The ribbons arrived several days later. I immediately knew something was messed up - the box was too small. Upon opening it, I discovered that there were 4 ribbons in it. When calling, I spoke with either Lee or Neil (couldn't understand 90% of what he said due to accent/broken english) and was told there was a typo on the web page. He wasn't interested in making things right, although he did say that he'd give me discounted shipping on my next order from them. I informed him that would never happen.
He did offer to take the ribbons back, but between the cost of shipping them back and the $20 I was gouged on for shipping initially, that means I'd have been out $25+ and had absolutely nothing to show for it. In the end, I decided to keep the ribbons and do my best to make certain everybody knows what a shady outfit they are.
24 hours after this incident, the product page has not changed and still says you'll get 6 ribbons each, so it appears that they're doing this intentionally - luring people into thinking they're getting more than they will receive, knowing that their excessive shipping fees will make returns unlikely. (This is assuming you can decipher enough words to understand what they're saying.) I'm just glad this was a relatively inexpensive lesson, but if it were myself instead of my employer, I'd likely visit their business and tell them in person what I think - they're about 5 miles down the road from my brother's home.
This company does business under the names kumputers.com, SHA Matrix, and MaxGIGs (you have to tell them what site you're calling about), so I'll be copy & pasting this review for each of them."

After ordering the Panasonic NNC994S from two other companies only to have them inform me they were not in stock after billing my credit company. I contacted Kumputers.com and not only did they have the product in stock but it was less expensive than the other companies and the shipping was less. I felt I was off to a great start ordering from Kumpters and I was not disappointed. Being a very impatient person I contacted them directly regarding shipment and they answered me immediately. Their follow-up, prices, products and customer service are above EXCELLENT. I would, without hesitation, recommend Kumputers to everyone. I have placed them in my favorites and will check on their items before placing an order anywhere else. Satisfaction not only guaranteed but delivered. Thank you Kumputers for putting a big smile on my face!!! You are welcome anytime for a meal cooked in my new Panasonic.
