"The person who communicates is not customer-oriented and is difficult to talk to. The company does not ship packages very well, and they nickel and dime customers in shipping. They do not work well with customers and have very, very confusing instructions. I would very much encourage others not to do business with them. "

"The owner of this company is extremely rude and disrespectful. I have been a customer of theirs for 10 plus years, and have always received exactly what I ordered, until my most recent order a few days ago.
I ordered several belts for an upcoming promotion, and the next day I received an email saying they were out of stock in one of the sizes, and that they could order those sizes and ship my belts the following week. They did not wait for any response from me, and the order was shipped out 20 minutes after they emailed me, and they substituted the out-of-stock belts with larger sizes that I did not want, need, or can even use. (I replied to the email the next morning stating that I would like to wait for the belts to be in stock, and they replied back that it was too late, the order was already shipped)
I called the company and spoke with the owner about this issue and he became instantly hostile and extremely disrespectful towards a long-time customer.
He stated that he called me and left a message, and sent me an e-mail, and that I did not reply soon enough, (20 minutes from the time the email was sent and the package was shipped).I never received a call or a voicemail, because I would have called back immediately.
While speaking with the owner, his level of rudeness and hostility continued to increase, and I told him that his attitude was extremely unprofessional, and asked him is this how you treat all your customers. He stated "yes, if they call to complain". I told him that I was not calling to complain, but calling to get an issue resolved that was created on their end, (they substituted items that I did not order without any confirmation from me). He told me that he would send a return label for the incorrect belts, but he would not order the belts I needed, and that I should just deal with it, and that most customers would be happy with a substitution to still get their orders on time. (I made this order with plenty of time to spare before the upcoming promotion, in case of issues like this)
I told him that I was a long-time customer, and have spent a lot of money over the years with their company, and would most likely be spending thousands and thousands of dollars more overtime on uniforms belts and sparring gear, and he replied "I don't want or need your money, and you can just go somewhere else".
I told him that I absolutely cannot believe that I'm being treated like this by the owner of the company, and at that point he became even more disrespectful and rude.
I then told him that I would be leaving a negative review for him online, and he replied "good, I can't wait to read it". And after a few more hostile and disrespectful words, he hung up on me.
I have never, ever received such unprofessional and disrespectful customer service, especially coming from the owner of a company."
"I was sent the wrong belt sized for my customized Blackbelt after waiting a month. As any martial artist knows it takes years to earn rank, and even though the pandemic has hit me hard I still managed to scrape up the funds to purchase my order. A simple misclick, which could have been cleared up with an observant professional's email or text, was not, and I ended up with a product I can't use and don't want. However, what **** me off the most is the customer service, the company's reaction was cold and facetious. I can deal with being on the bad end of the business deal but nothing bothers me more than a salesperson acting like my money has no value, and that I am not entitled to be treated with respect. As far as I am concern, do business with this company at your own risk. Their return policy is horrid and a crutch to hide the fact that their services are even worse. I do not recommend this company and no longer do business with their site. "

"First their size chart is a little off, so I ordered 4 uniforms that were too large and I had to return them. They need to provide an accurate size chart but the return is the real issue. I had my daughter try on one of the uniforms. It was too large so it went back into the package immediately for return. I folded it and put it in myself. It was in perfect condition and folded and packaged exactly as it was when we got it. I returned all 4 uniforms. They refused to take the opened one back because they said it was dirty. That simply was not the case. I know it was in perfect condition because I made sure of it. They asked if I wanted it back since it was "mine" and charged me shipping to send me back the uniform. I really had no choice since they refused to take it back. I haven't even received it yet and it has been a week. Other reviewers have noted problems with their return policy as well and have suggested that if you do buy their products you buy them only on Amazon and deal with Amazon's return policy. Probable even better to avoid them entirely. They simply are not a reputable company."

"I tried to use this company as a first time supplier for my business. I tried to place my order many times and even sent messages about the problems I was getting and no one contacted me. The service is terrible. When I applied for the whole sale account it took a while so I just followed up to ask about turn around time. They gave me access. The website has bugs and I tried reporting it and on several occassions the only feedback after I initiated contact, they responded with multiple times was to try different browers and each time I responded telling them that not only did I use different browsers but even on multiple computers. When they just kept giving the same response I disconnected the chat to speak to someone on the phone. The owner or rep on the phone got petty and started to complain to me how I disconnected chat rather than seeing I am trying to connect to them some other way like the phone call. So as he decided to complain that I disconnected from chat rather than taking my order. I told him they had terrible customer service and told them that I would take my order else where. When a customer tries to make an order, it may be best to focus on getting the order instead of lecturing the customer on disconnecting the chat especially if they disconnected the chat and made a call immediately. Calling and trying to connect more directly was a big mistake. If you have technical problems with their site and chat is not helping just leave don't spend the extra time trying to work with this company- don't try calling them. BIG MISTAKE!

Most online stores have this policy... They post it up front in their return policy page, why complain and leave negative reviews for that? Negative review should be for sellers that rip you off and steal your money, not because you don't like their policy."
"I really want to like this type of small online business, but ... I ordered a bjj gi from this company, using their sizing chart. The gi I received did not state the size as on the chart (size 5), but rather the size "A3". I normally wear a size "A2", and was not able to select this size online. Kungfu4less would not confirm or deny that they had sent me the correct size, but told me to pay for the package to be returned. After doing this they informed me that the return was "too crumpled" and would not be accepted, even though I returned it in the box it was sent in. I then went through a very frustrating customer service process, and was told that they were not interested in bringing this to a conclusion.
I hope others read this and are aware of the dangers of doing business with this company. Feel free to have a look at other reviews, and you'll see a large amount of similar experiences. The saddest part is that this company clearly is not able to accept constructive criticism and adjust their policies accordingly to be more customer friendly, choosing instead to attack customers that are unhappy with the service they receive."

"I ordered tabi shoes from kungfu4less.com using their website online store in April 2015. After patiently waiting for a few months I decided to call them to find out why I still didn't received my package. As it turned out my online order never went through so during the phone conversation with the representative I ordered my tabi shoes again. Another month passed and this time I checked my credit card to be sure it went through. My credit card was charged but still no package. After calling them it turned out that they wrote my mailing address wrong and they sent it to non existing address. I asked for the refund but they claimed that in order to give me the refund they have to receive the package back, and they said they didn't receive it, even though the tracking number on USPS website said they received it. After several phone calls they told me they have called USPS and fixed my address and I will be receiving the package in no time. I kept following the tracking number online and for some reason the package kept going back and forth between NJ and CA (my location is NY). After more phone conversations they told me to not file dispute with my credit card so they can file a claim with USPS and retrieve the package. I was waiting for them to call me back another month. So January 2016 I finally called and they tell me that the package has been delivered. Surprisingly they told me it has been delivered to the wrong non existing address they send it to the first time. Now they told me that the package was delivered and there is nothing they can do about it. So at the end, after waiting nine months I didn't get the product I paid for and neither I got the refund from kungfu4less.com. Please be careful where you order your stuff online. That was the worst experience with online shopping in my entire life."
