"I Bought HP 5L Laser Jet printer from LACC. The 1st one that they shipped arrived in a 1,000 pieces. I called and Rafael sent me a lable to return the junk, and within a couple of days I received my 2nd HP 5L and it was in perfect condition and is working fine.
I am very satisfied with LACC's service and communications.

"I came across this website and tried to purchase a Toshiba MK1665GSX. Not only do they not have it in stock as their website states, but they left the incorrect stock online for weeks. They lie about their inventory and will take your money whether they have it or not.
They are LIARS AND THIEVES. They should be shut down.

"I was checking out and then I see a paypal button. I clicked it and tried to checkout. Paypal couldn't finish the transaction through my credit card and it gave me an error.
I went back to their site, and finished checking out without paypal (just my credit card). When I look at order history, I see 2 identical orders. I never got an email or receipt confirmation for one of them. Trying to reach their customer service seems impossible and reading other comments here, I wish I hadn't made the order. Will try to cancel asap"
"I had the same problem with them advertising parts that were not actually in stock. I was told by a rep named Rafi that my order (placed on the 8th) had "already shipped" on the 10th. When I didn't see the processor I ordered, I called back on the 17th, to ask a for a tracking number. He said that he could not provide a tracking number because they were actually still on back order from their supplier. Over the next week, I called back every couple of days, and every time I called I was told, by Rafi, that I would most definitely receive a call back by the end of the day. Needless to say, they never once called me back or emailed me the promsied information. Finally, he said that his supplier was going to overnight me the processor directly, to save it from having to come and be processed through the LACC warehouse. (Strange?). Of course, it never came. When I called and asked for a refund, they acted surprised, like "What? It hasn't arrived yet?". .. I was put on hold, and finally told that I could get my refund, since the processor was actually STILL on back order. I felt like I was lied to every step of the way.
Eventually, I caught on that this processor was never going to come so I ordered it elsewhere. Now our project is 2 weeks behind schedule, and I am waiting on a refund from LACC. I can only hope I don't have to wait 3 months for MY refund to come, as did the other reviewer."
"This is the WORST company I have EVER done business with. They are unprofessional and unorganized on a criminal level. I have tried to return the product immediately and although I had a return number the company refused it and sent it back to me. I then had to send it again and they have had it in their posession for over a month and the reurn has not been processed. They are inconsiderate on the phone and had no idea where the product was, I had to track it for them to show that they signed for it over a month ago. They then said the return would take an additional three days. Although they are a computer company they have no ability to track their orders electronically or process an order. WORST experience EVER!!!!"
"DON'T BUY REFURBISHED EQUIPMENT FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY CHEAT AND LIE. I purchased a refurbished printer from them 5 months ago. I lasted for less than 40 sheets of paper. LA Computer refused to exchange it or to discount towards another. I took it to a local authorized HP printer repair and they informed me that it was never refurbished, it had been altered to work temporarily. The chip board would have to be replaced to fix the problem. "
"Another company advertising products that they do not have. I called on Thursday to check availability of a disk drive and was told that the 2 I needed were in stock- no more, no less. I immediately placed the order online, called to confirm that the drives were still in stock, and was told everything was set to go. 3 days later I had to call again to get a tracking number- the drives were not in stock. "I ordered and paid for a wireless router. My IT person installed it and discovered the unit was defective. I returned the unit for a refund. After numerous emails and phone calls, I was told on 9-29-09 (3 mos later!!!) that I would be refunded minus a restocking charge for defective equipment. Today is 10-13-09 and still no refund. This company should be put out of business for stealing from customers."

I was fooled by good reviews on Amazon.com. I have no idea how they got them. Stay FAR away from this company.
I ordered a refurbished HP Laserjet P2015 with a 3-year extended warranty plan for a local business. The printer arrived. I delivered and installed it. It printed out a single Windows test page and then totally ceased to function at all. I tried installing it on two separate machines with similar results on both. Each time the printer was turned on, random error LEDs would come on...it was obviously broken.
I requested an RMA from lacc.com. They sent me an email stating that they would repair or replace it if I sent it back to them at my expense. I sent an email back stating that I would rather just get a refund since it was very inconvenient shipping the printer all the way back to the West Coast and only hoping it would work when it came back.
They replied stating that a %30 restocking fee would be charged for returning the defective item."
"Terrible experience. Send wrong product. I pre-paid to have correct product shipped. Replacement product was defective. After 3 weeks and many calls, still don't have product. Not allowed to speak to sales manager."
"Horrible customer service. Ordered two printers. They didn't send correct models, but we needed to print. One worked well, the other one had a part laying in the paper cassette tray, and it made an awful grinding noise. Took nearly a month to get an RMA to return it. Returned it at our expense, they repaired that problem and it came back (after more than 25 calls to their company) with a different problem. Took another month to get a new RMA, at which point we asked for a refund for the defective printer. They said they'd charge a restocking fee because it wasn't the printer model we ordered! Of course not -- they sent us the wrong model in the first place. Although refurbished, the printers each had at least 50,000 pages on them already, with a history of errors in the event log. We will never do business with them again, to both of our relief. Worst customer service of our more than 500 vendors, by far."
"Purchased an HP Business Inkjet printer 11/18/08. Worked for 3 weeks then no power. Took 3 weeks for LACC to give directions to return. Paid $40 to send back. After 6 weeks they returned the printer - still does not power up. Refuses to make this right, sent me to the secondary insurer. Seems like all they did was delay doing anything for 90 days until the secondary warrantee kicked in. I would NEVER do business with LACC."
"I ordered a refurbished Primera Bravo II DVD Duplicator/Printer from this company on January 30. Prior to ordering, I had confirmed vebally they had a unit in stock. My credit card was charged on February 1. On February 3 I received an email stating the credit card address/phone could not be verified. I called them and got that straightened out. Then on February 5 I received an email stating they needed authorization for additional shipping charges to Alaska (which is not unusual). I called and approved the additional charges, and confimed verbally that they had the Bravo II in stock, and was told it would be shipped the next day (Feb. 6). When I had not recieved notice of shipping, I checked my order status on their web site, it was still stuck on "approved". So, I called them again today to learn they do not have a unit in stock, and are not expecting any.
My credit card was charged before they could verify the phone and address and obviously before the item was shipped. Three business days and two weekend days went by with no notification they could not complete my order. It took me calling them to find this out. This company was not honest with me from the beginning. I would recommend not doing business with them unless you really don't need what you are ordering, and you have plenty of time to wait to get it (if you ever do). I am very disappointed in their communication and service. I cannot evaluate anything else because I never got what I ordered. I am still waiting for the refund. "
"I purchased a HP J6073A EIO Hard Disk for my Laserjet 4250. When package arrived it was packaged well. After unwrapping the part I noticed some physical damage on the board near the connector. After going through the initializing procedure I received a notification from my printer that the hard disk was defective.
I removed it from my printer only find that several screws were actually loose on this component. I can only suspect a switch-out at their suppliers warehouse. I have purchased from them before, but no more. Buyer beware!"
