"I ordered a batch of ammo on their web site. No email order confirmation. Noticed that they had charged my credit card, but still no confirmation. No email stating that my order has shipped. 8 days in I filled out the email “contact us” form on their web site. Ten days in, still no order confirmation, no shipping number, and no response to my online contact attempt. What kind of company is this? If don’t hear back soon, I’ll be posting this review everywhere I can think of!
UPDATE: Their customer service finally replied and said the order had been delivered. When I got home, the main bulk of the order was there but one box of my order was missing. Box was beat up and even some of the interior boxes were busted open. But no looses bullets flopping around, at least.
Emailed them and told them I’m still missing part of the order. Today I get another email “your order has been delivered “. When I got home from work there was a second smaller box waiting. It was even more beat up than the first one. I opened it and the internal cardboard box of ammo was so busted open that some of the plastic spacers had snapped! There were bullets spilled out of the internal box and flopping around loose in the external box! The shipper was UPS, for the record.
I increased my rating from 1 to 3 because they did respond eventually, the order eventually arrived and I believe all or at least most all of the bullets appeared to be there. I’m not going to count every bullet from every busted box."
"Took my order and charged my credit card and did not ship even though it had a UPS tracking number. Called twice but always got answering machine and left message but no return call. Sent email and they answered that 1 item was not in stock and asked what i wanted to do as they charged me for it all and withheld it from shipping waiting for the item even though they had a tracking number. Obviously didn't have UPS pick it up. I informed them to cancel item and ship ASAP. Got a credit email for item but still waiting for credit to show and shipment to arrive. Its been 11 days since order. Will update rating to 2 star if i receive the credit shortly on my card and shipment soon. Aug 8 received order and credit card credit. Total of 16 days. Updated from 1 to 2 stars for below average online customer service and delivery time. Will not order again."
" still waiting for them to ship my ammo. u would have thought i bought the whole store i ordered on may 2 at 9am. its may 9th . my ammo still sitting at the warehouse. 3rd time ive been on phone with them. they will put u through to the "online part of the store" where they wont answer. leave message. they wont call back. each time they tell me it will be shipped tonight. its like babysitting. if u love paying to babysit then u'll love this experience.
I DONT KNOW HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS, OTHER THAN PROMOTING LOWEST PRICES AT THE HIGHEST COST IN TIME.
i got other ammo ordered DAYS LATER THAT IS HERE. MORE AMMO BE HERE TOMORROW FROM ANOTHER STORE.

"LAX ammo is the most un professional company i've dealt with in my life. I live in NJ, they tried to enforce laws they claim exist in my state but actually do not. They asked fo rpersonal information like my drivers liscence and id #. according to them they need it in case law enforcement wants it. The cheif of police signed my permit. They know exactly where i live. Then they wanted to withhold a 15% surcharge for cancelling an order that never shipped. I called my credit card company and they flatly refused to pay it.
I'm not sure what they're pulling but they lost this customer fo good.!!!"
