"I placed the order late Sunday, I got a call to confirm/upsell (as described in other reviews) on Tuesday; I politely declined cables, surge protector, extended warranty, and we closed out the call pretty quickly. It started shipping later in the day. From New Jersey to northern Vermont, I received it Friday mid-day. The contracted delivery service did a great job, and not only was fine waiting for me to check it out, but almost seemed happy to hang out. Both LCDTVs.com and Manna Delivery have good order-processing status pages.

The phone call was picked up and had no problem placing an order. Within in an hour, I received multiple emails showing what I bought and detailing what would happen next. About a day later, I was contacted by the freight company asking when I would be available for a home delivery. The freight company Manna Distribution Services delivered it six days later to my house on schedule and with no problem whatsoever. I also got a great price on the TV; other local retailers were charging about $500 more.

"After calling LCDTVS.com and speaking with a delightful lady named Rita, I ordered a Sony Bravia KDL-52XBR4 and saved in excess of one thousand dollars compared to a local purchase of the same product. The device arrived by truck and in perfect condition right on schedule. To my great relief, the delivery guy insisted that we open the box and examine the panel before I accepted the item, and he helped me carry it into the house even though I had opted for free shipping. The entire experience exceeded my expectations and I would/will order again from Rita/LCDTVS.com in an eyeblink. The expected and appropriate subject of an HDMI cable came up, but I perceived no pressure whatsoever in terms of selling me any item at all, including the TV. "Overall I'd call my experience with the company average. They have fantastic prices, but it took me about a month for me to get my order. I called customer service multiple time and the wait time average about 7 to 8 minutes during the early morning. Not too bad. The customer service was always polite and helpful.
It's my belief that the customer service is either told to lie, or is deliberately misled to tell customers that the products they don't have are in stock. I was told at least 5 times that the TV I ordered would be shipped in 1-2 days and it did not.
The TV arrived the 28th, exactly a month after I got it. It shipped within the stated time frame and arrived in excellent condiiton."

"This merchant offered a favorable price on the latest and greatest Sony flat screen; the KDL-46XBR4, along with free shipping. I felt it was a good deal and placed the order over the phone. I had the set 3 days later, as promised.
The salesman offered an extended warranty, but was not pushy about it. I simply declined and that was it. The paperwork was all in order and the shipper arrived at the agreed upon timeframe.
By all metrics one would gage a merchant by, lcdtvs.com did an excellent job.

I am very detail oriented and I try to get a low price if I can but I am willing to pay more to lower risk or increase quality. So you and I may be the same. I had a very bad experience 5 years ago with another NY seller. I apologize for creating a category like "NY seller" but it seems like there are few. So many, including this one, had a few bad ratings. On the other hand, seemed like LCDTV had a good number of good ratings. I read all the other reviews, held my breath and ordered a Samsung 40" 4065F (40")from this seller. As expected, the sales person did attempt to up sell me. I said no. He asked just one more time and I said no again. Great. He did not ask again. Result: I had the TV, as promised in about one week. I am West Coast, they are East Coast. How great is that? This seller Rocks! I was certainly nervous that I had made a mistake buying from a NY seller (AGAIN). I did and have no regrets. As for customer service, they have a great on line status tool. I could see my order being processed. It was actually 100 percent accurate. Go figure? I did try to call to confirm what I was seeing in my logged in account view. Did not get thru so easily but did on the third try. Just as an fyi, just about all organizations in the world answer sales calls before service calls. That is normal. They did answer mine. One more thing for my friends reading this. LCDTV has a process that you have to just participate in and accept to prevent fraud. They call your credit card and ask if your shipping address is registered with the credit card you are using. If you are reading this now, call your credit card prior to your purchase and add the shipping address that you plan on using to your credit card. This caused a 1 day delay before the order actually shipped. Last thought. This seller has about the best pricing for the NY sellers and they do what they promise. You should close this web page now and order youir TV from this NY Seller. Low price, lower risk, Good information from sales person, expectation that order will be fullfilled as promised. I tried purchas a Pioneer 5070 plasma and was convienced to pay for 3-5 business day shipping by the salesmen. After 3 weeks and numerous attempts to contact this company I finally waited out the extensive wait time on the phone. I talked a live person and after explaining to them that its been almost a month and I wanted to cancel this order and they told me that it would be a 25% restock fee and I would pay for return shipping. I told them I had nothing to ship back.They told me it was between me and the shipping company. So now its been two months and I turned it over to my credit card company beware of LCDTVs.com "
"DO NOT order from this store. I ordered a TV that I was told was in stock and would be delivered in 5 days but since I was in NY I could expect it "by mid next week" (which would be 1/17-18). I also received an email stating "your order has shipped" on Monday 1/15. After calling the 1-800 number all day on 1/23 I finally got through to someone who told me the TV was on back order but it should ship today and they will email me a tracking number. So far I have not recieved an email. When I log into my account it indicates that my order shipped and gives a tracking number. This tracking number is for an HDMI cable (that the sales rep badgered me into buying) that was, in fact delivered last Wednesday. There is no other info regarding my TV on the site.
I was never told that the TV was out of stock until 10 days later when I called (multiple times until I got someone on the phone). I still have no idea if it is in stock or when it will be shipped. I have emailed them twice with no response.
I got a good deal on this TV but saving a few bucks is not worth the hassle. I hope that someday soon I will receive my TV and I hope it will be in one piece and I can finally let this matter rest.
It should also be noted that while my TV has not shipped and noone bothered to notify me of that, my credit card was charged on the day that I purchesed it."
"Ordered a Sony KDL40V2500 LCD TV from them; excellent price, free shipping. The sales guy called me to "confirm" the order, which I thought was appropriate, but he went into high-pressure upsell mode. He suggested a HDMI cable. I said no. He suggested a Digicom 6900 power surge suppressor for sale price of $100 and stated the TV would not be honored under warranty without one. I said yes. When I received the order, he had sent me the HDMI cable as well and chared me $65 for it. I called and explained the problem, got an RMA number and address, and returned it with return receipt. They received it 2 weeks ago now, and have not refunded my $65. They do not answer emails. Their customerservice email account on their web site is invalid. Wait times on hold are extremely long, and they always say check back in a few days. As far as delivery of the TV, their site says to unbox it before signing for it. DHL said if I unbox it, they cannot accept it back. lcdtvs.com policy in that regard is inappropriate, and probably illegal. I am to the point of filing credit card fraud action against them, along with the NJ Attorney General, the FTC, and mail fraud for accepting my unopened item back and failing to refund. Overall, great item, great price, but avoid if you don't want upsell and hassles.
