"I ordered an 11 cartridge set of LD Brand cartridges. They shipped 7 LD Brand and 4 G&G Brand. In Chat, I was informed that they ship whatever brand they have available in the warehouse. NOTHING like this stated on LD website. They claim in bold type that LD-Brand cartridges carry a life-time guarantee. Nothing about other brands. I had to demand that they replace the G&G brand with LD brand cartridges. The practice of substituting whatever brand they have in the warehouse without any clear notice on the website is DISHONEST and likely a violation of consumer protection law."

"LD's prices were very good on a 4-color cartridge set for my HP 8615 (8610) printer. I have had issues in the past with non-HP cartridges and my last round of LD cartridges have been flawless.

The cartridges came very quickly, just 2 or 3 days, but only the 3 color cartridges are LD and the black cartridge is G & G brand. I called LD customer support, explaining that it may be year before I run down my current LD black XL cartridge so I won't know for some time whether or not the G & G works for me. They explained that the LD black cartridges were out of stock and assured me the G & G is as good as their own LD. And comes with the same lifetime guarantee. That's reassuring, but my issue is that when my current cartridge goes dry, if the G & G doesn't work, then I'm down for a few days waiting for replacement. So at this point, I'll keep my fingers crossed that there are no issues. But I would have preferred that LD simply back order my black cartridge and send it out when back in stock."
