"I ordered 4 LED Panels from LEDsPlus. The site showed them as "In Stock".
A couple days later I got an email saying that they were "Awaiting Inventory". I sent them an email inquiring why they had this status if they were In Stock, and when I could expect them to arrive and be shipped out. I got no response, so I called them, but got their voicemail. I left a voicemail explaining the situation and asking to be called back, but nobody got back to me.
Two weeks later I was in talks to purchase the panels through someone else and cancel my order, when I got an email saying the LED Panels had shipped. They arrived a couple days later. I still never heard back from my customer service inquiries, and the items arrived significantly later than what the site said "In Stock" items would arrive in."
"I spent about 2 months researching and testing local retail store LED bulbs for my home. I needed to replace a total of 40 incandescent bulbs throughout my house and looked to LED lights as the energy efficient solution to cutting my hydro bills.
At the beginning, I didn't know what I was looking for. All I knew was that I had 30 60W regular shaped and 10 50w pot incandescent bulbs to replace. After testing a few from Home Depot, Canadian Tire and Rona which basically carry the same bulbs; Philips and Sylvania, I learned that these bulbs' rated life is only warrantied to work for 4 hours per day. SInce my wife is home all day and taking care of the kids, my bulbs were going to be on pretty much all day and so I looked for bulbs that were rated and warrantied for more and thats when I discovered ledsplus.com
These guys carry commercial grade bulbs that are used in commercial buildings, hotels, retail stores (ironic) and commercial public spaces like the zoo and airport. TCP, Standard Products, Lighting Science Definity, etc and the Philips bulbs they carry are the commercial grade kind, but cost a little more.
I was surprised to find out that these commercial grade bulbs actually cost less than the retail store kind; maybe its because they are a commercial wholesaler in Canada and don't have to worry about charging an arm and a leg more for better products.
I highly recommend you shop at ledsplus.com before you make your decision."
"I'm the superintendent for a commercial/residential building. I found the ledspluswebsite was very easy to use and definitely stood out from the rest of the online LED bulb shops I visited. I found every bulb variation possible which made it super convenient.
This was my first time buying from them and I was blown away by their level of customer service to make sure my order was done right and that I was happy - they have earned my trust and respect.
At the beginning, it took me some time for me to learn about the differences between commercial-grade LED bulbs vs the big box retail kind you see at home depot, but their LED lighting specialist was very patient with me and took the time to take his own photos to show me what he was talking about.
Free shipping was included with my order because I spent over $99 and I received my order faster than I expected. I ordered well over $2000 worth of led bulbs ranging from A19 OMNI, PAR20 and BR20.
I was very impressed overall and I think they're doing a terrific job taking care of their customers."
