Everyone makes mistakes

"When I inspected my order the connecting plates for the 8' LED's were missing. When I placed the order I emphasized that I had to have them for this job. There we not included. When I contacted LED Wholesalers I was told (on Thursday) they would send them out FEDX and I would receive them on Saturday and send a tracking #. I told them this was very important since my customer had a Sunday opening. They didn't ship them on Thursday and they didn't send them FEDX. They did ship ups on Friday and maybe I'll have them by Tuesday night, so I can install them on Wednesday, 6 days after I notified them. Very poor service and bad communication. How you fix your mistakes says a lot about a company."

Fantastic customer service

"I called and spoke with Wayne directly before purchase, to verify details and he was very helpful and gave me some great guidance, this being my first LED strip light project. Items arrived quickly, all good, then I had some issues that I did not anticipate, which were my fault. In follow up support calls with Wayne, he solved each issue effectively, even exchanging some items I had changed my mind on, going a different direction than I originally planned. The follow through and tech support reminds me of the best examples, when vendors really take care of customers. This company is solid. "

Excellent Customer Service

"I called LED Wholesalers to get specs on leds for building lightboxes. They were extremely helpful in figuring out how many LEDs I would need for the project, with a detailed explanation of electrical figures as well as lighting output. It was one of the most thoughtful customer services I've ever encountered with any company. "

LED light failed and smoking !

"Installed product 1012WW (bar code X0002ANPJ7) July 2013 and just failed Dec 2017 at computer desk. Smoke coming from unit and quickly filled house with dangerous, awful smell ! No manufacturer on box or product. Stay away from this as even with CE safety rating it is too dangerous for indoors."

poor product and cocky support

"bought Permanent LED Strip "L" Connector with 4" Wires for 2-Conductor Ribbons. This doesn't work with waterproof LED's. Don't buy it if you have waterproof LED's. The punk that answered the phone just laughed when I told them it was not working....Nice job kid!!!! "

Worst customer service ever.

"Have purchased hundreds of bulbs and ucls over past few years as an electrician. Then had a problem. Had to call customer service. Obnoxious guy at customer service has forced me to buy from someone else in future."

Good products and helpful people

"Ive bought directly from this company three times and have never had a problem with them or the products, so surprised at the some of the reviews.

As I was new to working with LED strips I asked for recommendations as I was getting all sorts of conflicting info on-line. They wrote back asking a couple of questions about my project and then gave a me a parts list. Project went together nicely, and I've done two projects more using LED Strips from them.

I have used one other company - SuperBrightLED - for a landscape lighting project and while they were also very good they were substantially higher priced for similar items.

"Purchased LED Lamp through Amazon. Lamp was defective and requested return. When I requested refund they required that I sign RMA form saying I was responsible for original shipping cost. What? When I issued bad review on Amazon, seller held me hostage and said they would issue refund only if I removed bad Amazon review. Ha! I guess that is why they have an excellent rating with Amazon. "

"Amazon AWFUL AWFUL IDEA

So the first time I ever resorted to buying anything online was the worst experience I have ever had I spent almost $600. To get my grow equipment to start indoor growing (no weed) its been almost a month 4 items never even came they wont give me my money back and they tell me there is nothing more they can do.

I would never have done this if not for out move and the fact that we did not get our winter kale in. I so regret having broken my own moral code to buy from these crooks.

I started this page where I am going to share my experience and provide all the consumer protection, advocacy and activist info I can provide.

Amazon-complaints To expand on this a little we moved into out home just 3 months back. Because of the move we were not able to get a very big crop of winter kale in and since we juice and eat 2 bunches a day about $10 from the organic store. It just seemed like a good idea that we would spend money and save money. This is not only money they have stolen but it adds up being they have stolen food from me and my 6 year old girl. It is shameful isn't it?

"I purchased a dozen or more LED Par38 lights from them almost a year ago. These lights are supposed to last 40,000 to 50,000 hours, which in my situation could be 25-35 years. Within a few weeks several of the lights began to turn off after being on for an hour. Once they cooled they would turn back on for several minutes, then turn off again. This was extremely irritating. I then dimmed them slightly, and this allowed them to stay on longer before turning off. But the problem persisted. I sent an email to LED Wholesalers. They said they were having problems with that model and replaced them with another model of the same PAR38 LED light. The new model seems to work fine. But unfortunately I still had 9 of the old model lights that began acting up within a few months of the first lights that were sent back. LED Wholesalers will not respond to my emails and requests for replacements. Now I am stuck with 9 LED lights that I paid $37+ each for, that are suppose to last 25 years, that do not work after 8 months.

These guys are knowingly selling products that do not live up to their claims and will not stand by their products when they fail. Stay away from them. Once you have them you are stuck with lights that do not work properly. Go to Home Depot. You may pay a little more, but at least you can return them if they do not work. These guys are unscrupulous vendors who do not support their products.

"WARING, Do not, and I mean do not order from these people. Ordered a UV flashlight and it didn'd even work from the get go. And as for refunds good luck, there's no such things as refunds with these clowns. Sent back my order and they never even aknoledged my return. Will never order from thes people again, by the way customer service sucks. You've been warned."

"Horrible service. these people will literally fill a box with random lights and ship it to you. I would seriously stay away from these guys. the lady that answers the phone sounds like she hates her life and lives in a trailer. I would suggest calling them before you order to find out for yourself. Pathetic lighting company. Avoid this LEDWHOLESALERS.COM!!! SCAM!!!!"

"Do not deal with these clowns. Ordered a couple of lights from them 2 months ago and they never arrived. After multiple attempts to contact them via email and phone (which usually rang out with no voice mail), I finally get them on the phone, tell them I want a refund, and they refuse. Said they couldn't refund me because I waited too long, as if it were my fault they never sent the merchandise and that they failed to respond to my email, etc. Like most disreputable companies, they're really efficient at getting your money though. What a joke."

"You better beware of this merchant. The owner, Wayne Wong is a cheater. I purchased LED lights from him and he sent me the wrong items. When I tried to communicate with him, he won't respond at all. I called him on his phone and he asked me to send back the items at my own expense before he could send me the replacements. Is he not stupid?
I filed for a dispute on PayPal and he still don't want to cooperate.
