"Everything seems great besides the price- we were told the school does childcare aware discount and we have been waiting months with no word. The other concern is the front desk and how rude, cold, unwelcoming they are. It makes me nervous leaving my child with them."

It's a convenient location, and they keep our kids changed and dry (usually - sometimes they'll hand off our infant with a dirty diaper and act like they didn't know) and it seems to be kept safe from intruders. Other than that, the center is disorganized, has zero focus on actual education at the proper learning level for each age, and seems to be staffed with amateur, non-certified staff who don't know how to manage a classroom full of kids despite the claim that the center is certified in some fashion."

I didn't realize the precautions they were taking were above and beyond the state guidance and even that the guidance expired because they never lowered their level of safety and cleanliness. There are lots of outbreaks in daycares in San Antonio but I have no concerns about our center. I know it takes more time and money to do the right thing, but I am so glad that they did. This has been a wild year."

I don't consider it a preschool or particularly educational, and so many questions are around that. My daughter is safe, happy, and cared about and that is most important. But I have very real concerns about her school readiness after being in the chaos of La Petite for so long."

My child has started to talk more and be open on trying different foods. The teachers are great, and always make sure every child is looked after and taken care of and safety is their top priority."

"Overall my experience has been good. I have had a few issues along the way but they generally resolve themselves. I don't like when my son is moved to another classroom, they have a party for one of the kids and either he's told he can't have a goody bag because he was in the other class (not his choice, they had to move him due to quotas) or he can't because it isn't his normal class - not my issue and he knows he's missing out. Also, the day he had to attend and the class went to yoga but he was told he couldn't because we didn't pay for it. That's a hard thing to explain to a 4 year old. I really do appreciate the staff at my school. Overall they are fantastic. The director while nice and she seems to care for the kids, I find the fact that she can literally never remember my last name (and it's a common name!!) a little unsettling - I understand there are several kids but then again there really aren't . I'm the parent that picks up everyday and has since he started almost a year ago so again it isn't that she doesn't know me. I find her to be a little fake sometimes and that's hard to explain in a survey. Even her ability to understand my payment needs and being contacted about paying is a little offputting. Also, had she explained why she was calling or the consequences for her if I was late instead of what are your plans for paying, I wouldn't have been as bothered. We do the best we can and we are the ones already paying the late fee - as I told her I will never not pay it and I will certainly never not pay it by Friday but not the point. The assistant director is wonderful and I enjoy all of my interactions with her."
