"These are some additional things i have observed when picking up my child. A staff member in one of the other room one day was yelling at a child for misbehavior. I understand discipline but this was not a calm reprimand but an actually angry yell. Now when you observe that and you have a baby in one of the other room it just makes me question what is the staff doing to calm down my crying baby? Are they shaking him? Yelling at him? It is not a good look for the school or its reputation for parents picking up their kids to observe these things going on."
"I drive over 20 minutes to take my 1 year old to La Petite. When I was looking for childcare with my oldest son (8 years) this was the 4th and last attempt to find a good facility. The only reason he doesn’t currently attend is because it is out of their district to take him to school. However, He will be attending throughout this summer and he is so excited! The staff is friendly, loving, and so easy to talk to. Miss Erica is a wonderful director and adds so much to the facility! Anybody that asks about childcare, I am quick to refer La Petite without any second thoughts! I look forward to watching our baby grow not only physically, but mentally thanks to the teachers and staff at La Petite."
"I love that my child is obviously learning. My only complaint would be not having clarity of who his teachers. Also we signed our child up for Kindermusik which is an additional $15 a week, but we know it would be enjoyed. Both of us are disappointed we NEVER hear anything about it or see video or pictures. And we were told we would receive materials for home and have received nothing. Kind of hard to justify the extra."
"I have been very happy with the school however tilts cleanliness needs to be addressed and have a better curriculum with more preparation for kindergarten"
"The director is wonderful and so is my son's teacher. He loves going every day and I know that he is happy when I leave. I love the app so that I receive updates throughout the day."
"We have felt nothing but love from our experience at La Petite. Our daughter was being bullied at her previous daycare and all the teachers and students not only welcomed her and turned her fears of shool around but they were able to get her ready for kindergarten in under six months. My boys are so advanced in their speech and social skills. All three of my children adore their teachers and their school. We could not be more blessed to have such amazing angels looking after our babies and helping them grow while we are at work. Thank you sooooo very much for all you do for us!"
"I pass 7 daycares on my way to take my son to La Petite. My first son went there for 4 years, and as soon as we started thinking about facilities for the new born, there was no question. Well worth the drive. The staff is wonderful and friendly. They truly love your children as their own. We would never look anywhere else!"
"Love the director/teachers/communication.Would like to see the enforcing of the advertised curriculum. I do not feel the children are ready for kindergarten at this point. More training of hard to handle/difficult/defiant children."
"We always receive a warm welcome at La Petit Arnold. The staff is loving and child focused. My child looks forward to going to school and interacting with the other children."
"The only thing I can recommend is to deep clean often. Corners of rooms or the smaller/tighter spaces are very dirty."
"My child does love his school and coming to learn and play! I feel comfortable with the staff and love when they have activities at the school that family can attend."
"We've always been very happy with La Petite! The tuition is slightly high, but definitely worth it, because we know our child is well taken care of!"
"I am concerned about the director not being decided on yet."
"We were told that our son could not advance because they want to keep him with the kids he will go to kindergarten with. They never even asked if we planned to go somewhere other than a public school. We are sending him to a private school. Additionally, our son just turned four and he has been adding and subtracting for several months. When we has our parent teacher conference there was very little discussed about the actual learning. When I inquired more I found that they were working on identifying numbers above 10, which our son has been doing for over a year. He has done some basic algebra and we were discouraged from working with him because he would get too far ahead. Due to this and some other less than pleasant circumstances we feel for $40/week more we will be at a faculty that will work with our child individually and overall have more educational factors to provide actual feedback."
"Glad we toured. But la petite is not the place for us."
