"We love La Petite in Ashburn. We've had our ups and downs this year but the staff has always worked so hard to ensure that our child is happy and thriving in the environment they are in. Our daughter loves her teachers and going to school every day. She stops by the desk to say hi to Ms. Megan and/or Ms. Yelda, stops by the Infant Room to wave at her previous teachers and then happily marches into her classroom to play with her friends and greet her teachers. At 1 years old, I'm beyond thrilled with the amount of learning and enjoyment my daughter has gotten from school and look forward to watching her continue to thrive with the La Petite staff."

"The school is excellent and I love the Director, Assistant Director, and teachers in the infant room. I like that there are a small amount of families at the school; however, I do think the kids need more room. A bigger facility would be ideal. I love all special events the school provides (i.e. corn hole tournament coming up and the color run). The summer activity schedule is great. It would be nice if the baby strollers were kept inside (if there was room) so they didn't get wet if it rains."

"Communication about policies and overall events is good, but we lost some of the fine logistical detail about moving up into the next classroom. A quick tour of the space, more info about the schedule and expectations (for instance, that we should take sheets and blankets home over the weekend) would have been helpful in that transition. As we entered both classrooms (first the infant and the the toddlers) we always felt like we were a bit behind in understanding all of the logistics."

"I never worried about my son at this school because I felt like he was among family. The staff is so caring and engaging with the children. My son smiled and loved his teachers just like my friends and family- it was clear that he enjoys being there and is well taken care of. They always answered my questions and concerns in a genuine manner. If we weren’t moving my Henry would be at this facility for quite some time!"

"Overall, I have loved being at LPA - Ashburn. Most importantly, my kids love it. The teachers, the assistant directors and director have been amazing with the care and education with my kids. If it were up to me, I'd keep them here for as long as I can but because we live on the other side of town, our elementary school won't be close enough for us to stay. They offer Parent's Night out which is a treat as we've never had this offered at prior preschools. We are so sad about this because I have grown to really enjoy their teachers. My oldest is comfortable, well cared for and loves her friends. The teachers here are very special and you can tell they love what they do. Thank you!"

"We were very impressed with the school when deciding on where to send our child, but there wasn't much communication when they actually started. It would have been nice to have some sort of welcome meeting to talk with the teacher without all of the other kids as a distraction. There was a general sense of the teacher tiptoeing around us when we were just trying to have honest conversations without any judgement about how our child was adjusting. We think the adjustment period could have been handled better so that we weren't left with any questions or feelings of uneasiness. We decided to stick it out and things have greatly improved, but we did contemplate finding another school. We know you're great and super busy, but taking the time to help new parents assimilate in will help keep kiddos long term! Thanks for all you do!"

"One minor concern I have is that we put booties on outside of the infant 1 classroom where traffic is walking through so the booties really add little benefit, as people are tracking germs through that area anyway."

"We have enjoyed our experience thus far with La Petite. The teachers in our classroom are always very warm and welcoming and do a great job keeping us updated with how our daughter is doing. The director and assistant director (Megan and Esther) are always very welcoming and often help out in classrooms when they can. Very comfortable environment where we feel confident that our daughter is in good and capable hands when we drop her off for the day."
