"The staff are not properly trained. My son got hurt and dislocated a ligament in his elbow right before they had lunch. I wasn’t called until 4:15p to notify me that my son got hurt and he keeps crying holding his arm. I was so upset that they waited 4.5 hrs until they decided to call me. As soon as I showed up I rushed my son to urgent care where they popped his elbow back in place. The staff made excuses saying they didn’t think it was that bad and explained that a classmate just slapped him on his arm. I’m sure my son was crying in pain, could not physically eat lunch because he was holding his arm up with the other hand. I am so disappointed on how they handled the situation and left my son in pain that long. The director said she would look into it and address it with her staff but I never heard back regarding the outcome. "

"Daughter loves coming here. She knows and loves all the teachers. They all know her as well. Has made the transition into kindergarten way easy and she goes to school with kids she’s been in pre school with. They all know us, and it has been pretty consistent with the same teachers and environment. I recommend LA Petite to anyone who is looking for childcare with a great education along with it."

"Great rapport with staff and director. Sometimes classroom is wild and a mess. Also, some language he comes home saying is not appropriate. He states his teacher says it to him."

"You need to work on communication and possibly have better options for the kids to eat. It’d also be nice if my sons backpack was accounted for as he moves rooms but he will get spare sheets and blanket and sometimes be in someone else’s clothing when he “has none”. His backpack can usually be found in the drop off room. It also is labeled with his name in caps."

"It hasn't even been two months. I have noticed the school has undergone quite a bit of changes like, reorganizing teachers. At first I was very disappointed but, I can tell the director is trying her best to elevate the quality of care. The teachers that are in my child's class now are a much better team. Before my child would come home hungry, tired, irritable, and covered in snot. He would cry at the thought of coming which is a known huge red flag when choosing a care provider. Now, with a more fitting and stable staff, I have seen a complete 180. There was an issue with potty training but the issue was resolved. My son is now back on track after a full regression. I can tell the teachers now are spending more quality time with my child because I can see a significant increase in vocabulary and motor skills. However, I do not feel that I can rely on the precious child updates for information about my child's day. I understand the teachers are busy but, I would like a more personal and quality response when I ask about his day. Was he cooperative? Did he sleep? Is he only drinking his milk? What activity was he super involved in? I am not a fan of the rotating schedules because I can't get the answers I am looking for. Communication has immensely improved since we started but there is still room for improvement. I still keep an eye out for other care opportunities but with the recent developments, I am hoping to keep my child here. I would love to see new equipment in the play areas in my child's classroom. It is starting to look a little over loved."

"Good administration but the quality of teachers is not the greatest. When you get a vibe that the teach doesn't really care is not a good feeling. Need to have smaller classes and simple stuff of whipping the kids noses."
