"I love how the teachers take time to help and love on the kids. They take time to teach the kids a good variety of things.

"I love that she doesn’t cry at drop off. They keep the kids active and moving. They read books and do science experiments. I feel she is safe there. The director is level headed and helps resolve problems. She teaches the children how to voice their needs early. My kid is happy and a very well mannered kid and I know it’s because we can trust the school to help us raise her."
"Overall I love the school. The director always answers my questions and concerns and most of the teachers are very loving and nurturing. My only concern is the new teacher she transition to. She doesn’t seem very nurturing or friendly to the kids. My daughter has started yelling more since moving to her class and that concerns me that she picking that up from being “disciplined” poorly. Her current teachers behavior will be the only foreseen reason I leave LaPetite."
"My daughter has been at this school for around 3 years. There have been highs and lows as with any daycare/preschool, but overall she is very happy and loved by her teachers. I can see positive progress being made to provide more learning experiences for the children. The meals are much more nutritious than many in the area (when they stick to the meal plan), and we have had many positive experiences with the teachers and staff. There is room for improvement to decrease teacher turnover and reduce student:teacher ratios. Overall we are happy with our school!"
"Think Geraldo Rivera's expose on Willowbrook. This location was decent the first couple months. Upon adding 40 kids in 30 days, everything fell apart. The minimum wage staff are overworked (too many children, not enough adults). They are not allowed to hit 40 hours p/week, resulting in no time for clean up. I have toured nearly a dozen other schools unannounced in the last 3 months & this is - BY FAR - the most disgusting facility in Bentonville. It is persistently filthy, smells of urine and feces, and has born at least one case of food poisoning.
The staff turnover rate is incredible. There seems to be a new face every week so the children & parents have no stability and no chance for forming relationships.
When I picked my granddaughter up Monday, I was informed that she had an accident "walking to the bathroom after nap" but that "the good part is that it was after nap so her sheets aren't wet." Tuesday morning, I found her urine soaked sheets in a bag in her cubby. Tuesday afternoon, I found her soaked when I picked her up. A different woman on duty promptly informed me that "it's just water, we didn't wipe down the equipment." The pattern was clearly not the result of water on the equipment. I smelled to confirm and changed her clothes. Who knows how many hours she was left to sit in urine-soaked clothes (pants, undies, socks, & shoes). I would like to say these were isolated incidents but that would be a monumental lie.
Other issues - the wood chips used on the playground are the cheapest and most obnoxious material one could find. They embed into every fiber, ruining clothes, shoes, and even items that have never been on the premises.
Please don't fill out a survey. The condescending district manager will respond with paragraphs of snooty defensiveness. If you don't want feedback, don't send out surveys! This is CX 101.
There is nothing educational about this center. There is no curriculum, no engagement. My granddaughter has learned nothing of value in a year of being here.
The Director is manipulative and defensive as she has been groomed to be by a corporate leadership team whose only focus is money. Any attempts at conveying / resolving concerns with her are futile.
If you look at La Petite reviews from the last 12 months, these stories are happening across the US, indicating there are deep-rooted, systemic issues within the organization. This is a true shame. My daughter attended a La Petite facility in Arizona 21 years ago and they really were cream of the crop back then.
As I toured other schools, the moment I said she was at La Petite, the face of the person I was speaking to involuntarily contorted into either a look of pity or a look of disgust. Their reputation clearly precedes them. There is a reason this is the only school in Bentonville with openings.
If you even kind of sort of like your children, do not subject them to the filth and neglect that is La Petite."
"My son has Autism. La Petite is very supportive and allows my son’s ABA therapists, SLT, and OT all work together. This is called universal design. Joe now talks because he has therapy and is in the least restrictive environment. My son deserves to be with everyone else. I totally recommend this place. "
"I had a lot of anxiety going back to work after having our son but I feel so comfortable leaving him with La Petite. The staff goes above and beyond to take care of him and my needs. I could not be happier with them.

"Just need to pay a little more attention to kids"
"I love this school and the teachers but the facility needs a face lift. This can be a turn off for parents."
"I loved this school the moment I walked in. The staff is friendly, caring, and down to earth. They serve things to eat that my kids already like and things that they have never eaten before and ask for at home and they listen to me and work with me about dietary concerns."
"It needs to be more clean and organized. I understand it is a palce full of kids but it smells like urine everywhere and the floor and area rugs are filthy."
"Whitney works so hard. She's compassionate, professional, and really loves kids. She hires excellent staff and they are loyal to her which speaks volumes. Lately, the center has smelled frequently of feces and urine which is a turn off. The toddler class is often out of soap and paper towels which is not hygenic."
"Very nice .. loved the atmosphere.. my kid enjoys going to school.. he loves his teachers , speaks about them at home, tells all what has been done in school in terms of fun activities and food.. will strongly recommend this institute to all.. thanks for all the efforts and love for my child La Petite Academy.."
"Very friendly staff and my kids have learned a lot!"
"Shelly is alway approachable and cares for my children."
