"We have been very happy with the teachers at this school. They are always greeting my children by name when we arrive. The teachers know all the kids names even if they are not in their classroom. And the things my daughter is bringing home surprise me on a weekly basis - she is learning so much!"

"We like the school overall and like our son's teacher. There has been instances where it seems unorganized. Our son's teacher left and then came back, there has been talk amongst parents of teachers being fired, the school being audited and on probation which is of concern. There's not a lot of shared communication from the school on these matters."

"La Petite is the first daycare my daughter has attended that I feel I can trust. They pay attention to her and genuinely care about the children there. They keep parents informed about their child’s routine via the brightwheel app and also have an app to watch our children on the cameras when we feel we want to check in on them. If I were to move, I feel like I would still drive my daughter to La Petite daily because I feel very secure with her there."

"I’ve seen a lot of improvement with hiring staff in the last year and improved communication. This director and all office staff are very visible and involved. Past directors not so much! They are very responsive to issues and are open to feedback. Most of the teachers are caring and engaged; however, there are a few teachers (one often in Infant) that is so disengaged and unfriendly. She rarely interacts with families that I’m left questioning how she could possibly interact well with the children. She has a very flat affect and I’ve never seen her smile! She stands out from the rest of the staff that we’re left so confused as to why she is still a part of the team. It makes us draw conclusions that hiring/staffing is a challenge. I would like to see more consistency in the teachers ... they move between rooms way too much with not enough communication, not the main teachers but the secondary ones, move all over and I think it’s a challenge for the younger children."

My favorite part of her days is honestly seeing her sit at the table and be patient with all her friends at snack and meal times. "We love it. We switched to La Petite from a different daycare and the difference was day and night. My daughter has strong relationships with the children in her classroom and she has strong relationships with her teachers. She has also grown and learned a lot during her time there."

"Overall, I would say the experience has been sub par. I don't really know how it is at other daycares, but the teacher to child ratio makes it difficult for the caregivers to attend to each child promptly. Infants are left crying for more than 15 minutes at a time and are not being soothed or calmed down--they are just simply placed in another position. Infants are left -- for my preference -- in the saucers or bouncers for too long a time -- at least an hour at a time. I know it's difficult to get to each child promptly, but I think that sometimes folding laundry is less of a priority than soothing a crying baby, especially an infant under four months of age."

"La petite staff and their teachers are beyond sweet hearts. Each morning were agreed with a warm hello and a great big smile. If my little is being shy during the morning drop off,one of his teachers instantly makeing him giggle. Also, I like the healthy variety meals that are prepared daily. Furthermore my son has learned so much adding and subtracting and so much more."

"Compared to other facilities in the area we liked this atmosphere best. Large classrooms, lots of light, great toys and activities. For infants, the cribs aren’t on top of each other and don’t crowd the play space. When I arrive all of the staff knows my daughter’s name and greats us warmly. I work from home (which is isolating) so part of our decision for daycare vs a nanny was to allow me some adult socialization at drop off and pick up. The app and the video feed are amazing, and give the school a competitive advantage in the area. My husband has a long commute and sometimes misses wake up or bed time at home so checking on the video during the day helps him feel involved and connected to our daughter’s day."

"We love this school, especially Ms. Jodie. She is an amazing teacher and loves my child as if he were her own. She has a great disposition and my child has excelled in her care. I reccomend this school all the time to my friends. The only thing I don't like is when the children are moved out of their classroom to accommodate for ratios. At the beginning and end of the day is fine, but I want the majority of my child's day to be spent with the same teacher in the same class."
