"We have always had GREAT interactions with the directors and teachers. We began when Jennifer was the director. After that point, Charnetta took over and we had just as good of an experience as we did with Jennifer. Nothing has changed with Martina as director. Martina is very friendly, involved, and helpful. I appreciate her willingness to keep us involved as parents.The teachers that we have encountered have all been very nice and helpful. Jenny Holt is still at the school and she takes special interest with our child from the beginning. We appreciate the help and support."

"While the staff was personable, one of my biggest concerns was regarding a staff member who clearly entered the building after smoking. The entire reception area was filled with 3rd hand smoke. I think this is unacceptable and no children should be exposed to 3rd hand smoke at their daycare. I would like an investigation into this because this person's choices will impact the childrens' health. Also, materials were not readily available, the visitor log lacked fresh pages (and none were printed when staff was alerted - I just wrote at the bottom of a full page), and furniture and rugs were stained and in need of cleaning or replacement."

Play areas and building entry look good to us. We love the school, the teachers and the environment for our child. I have heard from friends that the curriculum here is more advanced than area pre-k programs, and that my daughter will have more preparedness for kindergarten. We are comfortable speaking with any teacher or director; they are always accessible and accommodating."

"I spoke to a person on the phone explaining I really needed child care and they assured me that they had openings. My husband rushed back from DC so we could all tour the center together . When we arrived no one answered the door for 10 min. A parent offered to get a staff member after no one helped us. The staff member refused to give us a tour because she said there were no openings. She said the phone operators have no idea if a center is full or not and they just assign people tours. My son really wanted to come in and the staff could see that . She could have offered a mini tour just so my son could have a look. The phone operator told me to bring my son to the tour so when he couldn't look around it upset him and hurt his feelings. He is 6. I guess the bottom line is I don't want ignorant people who can't understand or be sensitive to the needs of children watching my kid or not watching . Obviously they don't care and it's just a business to them."
