"I really like the school and teachers. Ms. Handley & Ms. Chrystal are awesome! Oh & Ms. Misty too!"
"Our experience has been great. Nora shows many signs of learning from school. Since we do not have other children, the interaction is essential. I also think it is vital for the teachers to be stern and have heard that. Holly and Chrystal are very sweet and I am happy they are additional caregivers for my child."
"My daughter loves going to school. On the days she doesn't go she ask to go. Over all it has been a great experience. I think things on the administrative end could use some work."
"We have been incredibly happy with La Petitite Academy. The biggest thing as new parents was finding a place where we felt comfortable. Our child loves her teachers and friends and learns so much at a young age."
"Ms Britney, Ms Jocella, Ms Kristin and Ms Holly are all wonderful and have worked very hard to make a great and stable environment"
"The Director and the Assistant Director are terrible, I’m never greeted by them when I come in. I asked the Director a questions and she just gave me an attitude. I love the Preschool and PreK teachers they are amazing. I can tell that the curriculum is being implemented because my child comes home everyday talking about what she has learned. If it wasn’t for these two teachers I would have pulled my child out due to the management team. They are horrible!"
"Almost all the teacher have been great with any concerns and compassionate and caring towards our child. Our one trivial grip is the lack of pictures we get through out the week. In infant 1 we got pictures almost daily now we never get any pictures."
"Teachers are mostly caring, but communication is poor and there is a huge variety in the education/communication depending on which teacher you have."
"I think the communication from the director and assistant director TO teachers and also parents could be better. Another instance of an issue was the spanish class for pre-school and pre-k. We signed up last fall and apparently they stopped teaching it weekly and didn't inform the parents. I asked my child's teacher about it and she said that the assistant director stopped teaching the class weeks ago. I asked the director and she said only a few weeks ago it stopped. And the asst director (the spanish teacher) gave me a 3rd answer. All in all... we were charged for 12-13 weeks. I can't remember. The class only went on for 5 weeks. No on was notified. We were refunded but more times than not, the front office is not good with communication about stuff like that. We have concerns with turnover in the Preschool to pre-K area. Twos and under are fantastic. Amazing really. Everything else has left a lot to be desired. We are completely happy with our child's pre-K teacher now. She's prepared and it feels like school. Generally from 2.5 - 4 years old, it has been more like just babysitting. We are happy with the structure and curriculum. It is communicated well and we can reinforce what is happening during the day with that teachers communication. Overall I think this place is ok. There are pockets of really really good. The teachers are good. We just need to be able to keep them there for continuity."
"Communication is limited when transitioning classes. It would be helpful to have a to do list to give parents while there child is transitioning so we can help by doing some of the things at home. Or know what to except once in a new classroom & not learn the day of that certain items needed to be brought in for the new classroom. When transitioning into toddlers I had to ask what should we be doing to help with this move and even then I never got the same answer twice from the teacher or administrators. Also it seems the children are being moved up not based on being developmentally ready but to make room for more kids for more money for the facility. Overall the teachers in infant we encountered were awesome and the facility is remodeled and clean."
"I enjoy the extra activities that are offered, Zumba, Spanish, soccer."
"at first i was fairly happy. over the last few months i seen high staff turn over and a decrease in caring."
"Mira and Sydney are wonderful. We stay because of them. I think the infant room should be cleaner. We may look at other options when our child ages out of the infant room."
"I think the staff is kind, but im not sure if its the right school for my child. When I asked about the restrooms I was pushed off. When I ask about injuries that were not noted I get responses but that of I don't know what happened. Although empathetic its still concerning. Not seeing much difference in speach and educational growth I'm concerned. I love how sweet the teachers are but there's a lot of red flags for me at this point."
"I love the tow class teachers they are amazing. Management needs major improvement.."
"I love the Infant Room 1 teachers, but I wish they had more support of a third teacher, especially in the mornings since Leysa has so many infants dropped off at one time. It is not fair to her to have to juggle so many babies, and I have indeed seen her outside of the State ratio of 1:4 because there is no backup. I would like to see another support teacher with her in the mornings, all the infants and that wonderful teacher deserve more support!"
