They have a great staff and always go out of their way to make the day special and fun for the kids. They also take the time to help the children develop their skills with structure and learning being a key component at this school."

"We LOVE this school! We started bringing our daughter here when she was 9 months old and she is now 3 years old. As she progressed from the infant room to the toddler room to the early preschool room, I can confidently say that ALL the teachers are very empathetic, caring and nurturing. They are my daughter's second 'mommies' and it is comforting to know that she is in good care when I need to work. The teachers listen attentively and truly care. We highly recommend this school!"

"The teachers at LaPetite are amazing and are helping my son grow and learn the social skills he can't be taught at home. Only being here a couple months, I can already see, he is learning new skills and words every day. The teacher to child interaction is important and all the teachers at LaPetite go above and beyond with each child and help them individually with any educational/behavioral skills or empathy needed. The staff is also very friendly and interactive and seems to know what's going on with each child. This is a great place for children to learn and grow while being nurtured and having fun!"

"All of the ladies that work in the nursery are beyond amazing! They care for my baby as if it was there own. "La Petite Academy in Homer Glen has always given my child, soon to be children, the best care possible. Even though at times the teachers seem to have kids all wanting their attention, my child always comes home happy. My heart warmed so much when I saw one of the infant teachers cradling my little boy, singing a song and making 'hand dances' with him, all while still giving lots of attention to the other five babies in the room. I also know that the parents aren't the only ones who are affected by this kind of care. While I was being given a tour (by the same infant teacher), a student from a neighboring classroom saw her and yelled her name, ran up to her, and gave her a hug. Even though this child wasn't in her classroom anymore, and obviously hadn't been for a while (the kid had to be around 4), the teacher scooped him up in a big hug and proceeded to ask him about his family, using his siblings' names and everything! I know that my children will be greeted with the same enthusiasm once they've moved classrooms too. I've always communicated very well with the people involved in my child's well-being, and this staff is the most cooperative and caring of any caretaker I've worked with before. I love getting picture updates of my kid while they play and learn with his classmates. Until I came here, I hadn't known how much an infant could learn! My child comes home from his INFANT classroom teaching me things like sign language (how does that even happen??). In all, I've never seen a teacher, or group of teachers, work as hard, or care as much for my child as the staff at La Petite does. If you want your child to be surrounded by excited, happy, loving staff, then this is where you should go!"

"The school is very appealing and staff presentation is excellent. Unfortunately, since joining less than 2 months ago, our expectations have not been met. While our children's happiness appears to be high, personal attention is greatly overlooked. Our infant and toddler are generally left in clothes soiled and/or wet from eating; our toddler has had **** matter on his swaddle twice and in his shorts once; our toddler's face and hands are generally dirty; our infant's extremities are extremely cold yet extra clothing provided not utilized; food from home has been left out of the refrigerator resulting in disposal. Keeping my children clean and dressed appropriately, and refrigerating perishable items should not be things that need to be brought to the attention of a daycare/school. While our concerns have been addressed, we have been very disappointed. Overall, a high price tag for mediocrity."

"Good tour...nice director and teachers...space seemed a little cramped in some areas with so many tables. Director's son opened the door for me because she was giving a tour....although he was very polite it made me concerned about overall security because a child was opening the door."
