"It's been a lot of ups and downs. I love the teachers and have built strong relationships but struggle with the way the school is run, using the teachers to do more than just teach so they are not always in their classrooms, leaving my 11 month old in a toddler room is not ideal, even if it's seldom. There is no communication as to why. Putting her in the infant room every afternoon for a few hours, also not ideal. She is too big and it's not fair to the babies or the infant teachers. I understand it's a business but the kids and their needs should always come first."
"Jan and Jessica are always pleasant and wonderful to deal with. When my child was in Ms. Nati and Ms. Kelly's class she had a wonderful and educational experience. They are the best! Unfortunately, the two year old class is lacking."
"There is a revolving door with teachers. Curriculum is posted in the classroom, but I don't see evidence that it is being implemented. My daughter is often bored because she is at a higher academic level for her age, but there is no differentiation of instruction for her."
"The tour was okay, there was a pretty terrible smell when you walked in that lingered in the whole building. I was disappointed in the pricing and how the price varies on which location, if you live in suntree you make more money than people in palm bay so they charge more than the other location in palm bay. That's crazy. I do think it's great they offer food but the fact that so many kids are crammed in the infant room you'd think the price would be a little less. I paid $825 a month at a previous daycare but the infant program only had 4 children and 2 teachers. I was okay with that because of the one on one time the children had. They did arts n crafts and did a lot of skill building. I feel like for the price that La petite wants, my child isn't going to get that same thing. My child is just another dollar sign to the chain."
"Everyone we interact with is very nice and professional. One suggestion or improvement I would note is around communication. In the few months we've been at the school, I've noticed that there has been a bit of turnover (with staff and management) and the parents are notified after the fact. In addition, a change was being made to split my son's classroom and his original teacher, nor I, knew about it until it was happening. I think it's important to communicate these decisions to parents ahead of time, and certainly, alert staff to the upcoming change so they are aware in advance."
"We love Ms. Judy & Ms. Sam! They are both so great with our son! They keep the classroom fun while teaching. Our little one looks forward to going to VPK everyday & comes home telling us the fun things he's learned!"
"Overall, I like the staff and price of the school, but the academics are an area for concern for my child who is above grade level where I want her to stay."
