"We wanted to like the place, but the secretary never made us feel welcomed, she lost paperwork we submitted multiple times, she isn't friendly or happy when we pass through but is more engaging with others. Staff try sometimes but are not well trained or prepared as perceived from interactions. Location is convenient but parking lot is terrible and gets quickly congested at pickup. Kids liked the place initially but have expressed they want to go somewhere else where they feel more welcome and comfortable. Management has expressed they are making changes but it will take time to see if these result in permanent improvement or only as a temporary solution that quickly fails when not maintained."

"I have experienced that they don’t know how to handle children with ADHD correctly. Not all children are the same and will not behave the same, and should not be handled the same when they are upset and not cooperating. I was told that they do not have to be trained on how to handle children with ADHD or other behavior challenges they may face . Which is upsetting. I feel like my son is not learning like he should be due to ADHD , and they really don’t seem to care if he’s learning anything or not . I’m worried he won’t be ready for kindergarten next school year . I’m doing all I can at home to help him but I don’t feel he’s learning much there . The assistant director is not friendly at all . I don’t feel comfortable speaking to her . Ever since Director Cindy retired and left LaPe has gone down hill very badly . Very disappointed in how LaPetite has changed ."

"It has been great . My child loved it and feels very welcomed . I also feel welcomed and comfortable. There has been a lot of staff change but that’s given with our economy. They stay on top of everything for the most part. When I was going to switch my child they helped me get in with brightpoint to help me . I do feel the price Is a bit outrageous. I payed and picked here because of comfort and 24 access to cameras. I can always speak with teachers and even had a parent teacher conference. My child is happy and I feel at ease at work even when he cries to stay. My husband also agrees and loves it . We will miss this place when he goes on to school in the fall. Highly recommend !"

"The school is it self is amazing! Some of the staff is really nice and outgoing. But, my overall experience has been horrible. My child has experienced a numerous amount of situations that has involved her receiving black eyes, being bite, hair being pulled out etc. All I ask for is communication. I want to be inform prior to picking up my child. Instead I have the director not being informed but the lead teacher about the situations, the director not getting back in touch with me, the lead teacher and director having different stories in regards to my child being hurt. The only thing I’m asking for is better communication and to have confirmation that they’re trying to become proactive in order for some things to be prevented. I never have experienced anything like this before but because of this I have to find new child care for my child because the director said “maybe this daycare isn’t a good fit for your child” or how about walking into the daycare and no one greets you good morning or have a nice day."
