"The school and teachers are great. We would like to see the outdoor playground area covered with a safer material than bark. In TN it’s very hot during the summer and our daughter would be more comfortable wearing sandals but cannot due to the risk of cuts from the bark on the playground."

"It’s cheap, and that is the general feeling at the school. The facility stays in disrepair. The staff are mildly friendly but really don’t care, probably because they are paid very little. My child likes it and has friends. The food is trash and the feed the kids junk food all the time. They stay understaffed and the kids watch too much TV at school."

"The staff is awesome they truly love the kids and really they are the second mommy when we have to work. I truly appreciate everyone and I believe they deserve to get paid more!"

"It would be great if the younger aged playground was also grass rather than wood chips. The 1 and 2 year olds put wood chips in their mouth and throw them at each other. They also get in their hair and diapers/clothes."

The directer and staff at the Oak Ridge LaPetite have never made me feel insecure or dumb about any concerns I bring up. "Also, after being at this center for 2 years we fell on hard times. I lost a very well paying full time job and was only working part time. The director was helpful in qorking with us however it came to the point that we were told pay or don't come back because of the DM. I think that is beyond sad when you have a family who had history of always paying on time, actually early (every Friday before billing was done on Saturday). It caused us to get our lights cut off because we had to make a choice. I do understand it fell behind but were were ALWAYS paying just not every week due to our paydates. Left a very bad taste in our mouth after being such faithful parents. At this time I have found full time work again and we've been paying on time again as we were before."

"We are incredibly thankful that our daughter was able to enroll at La Petite in Oak Ridge, TN. The staff is wonderful and makes our daughter feel loved and special on a daily basis. It is the absolute hardest thing to leave your child in someone else's care while you have to work, so it makes me feel great knowing she is at a place that she will be taken care of, challenged, and truly loved on a daily basis. We cannot say enough nice things!"
