"My daughter was sent home with bruising that staff could not explain. I asked to see the camera footage and was immediately told my child is no longer welcome at La Petite at 5:45 PM on a Friday. Not that I wanted to send her back at that point anyway, but they may have lost me my job as well simply because I was concerned for my child's wellbeing and asked to view the footage. The staff's condescension is palpable. If you love your kids, DO NOT send them to this facility. Neglect report has been filed with the state. Why hide, La Petite? What did you do to my daughter to be so evasive with the video? WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO HIDE? "
"The staff and teachers provide an environment where my children learn, thrive and have fun. They teach age-approriate lessons and encourage creativity in my children. They are very loving towards my children and genuinely care about their well-being and are always willing to answer any questions that I might have."
"Amazing. We had my daughter at a different daycare and it was horrible. I hated leaving her there and she was so sad when she got home. La Petite has been night and day from that place. I never worry about her at daycare here. I know she is being taken care of in a happy CLEAN and safe environment."
"I think when transferring between classes or when there is a new teacher a handout should be given to the parents. It does seem a bit chaotic lately with drop off- maybe there are changes that we are unaware of, but some rooms have no one in them some days and other days they do. There has been a decline in communication with our older child’s teachers- we don’t hear of or know what they are doing, haven’t had the homework folder available since before Christmas, and don’t have much information from the teacher on what is going on.Connie seems very unhappy in her work and rarely smiles or seems to enjoy being with the children. I have often wondered/worried on a day to day basis what happens when we aren’t there. Overall we have been so happy with our childcare and will be continuing. We have loved Tresa, Kim, Sherry (and Jessica when she was there!)"

"Let me start with the good - we’ve been at this location for 3 years, my son loves it, I never worry that he is taken care of or safe. The summer activities are awesome! The teachers have always been very good for the most part....
On to the bad - prices - if you are private pay - the cost is ridiculous. They upcharge $10/day for school holidays that they go to daycare. They close for holidays, inservice, weather without discount. There’s recurring expensive multiple yearly fees, that if paid early are cheaper but they don’t keep track of........
Which brings me to the bad - the director,Pam, is the rudest, most condescending person I have ever dealt with. I have no issue with any of the other faculty there. I have seen many other reviews with same issues with her. She has treated me as if she is doing me a favor and I am not paying a premium for this service. She is publicly rude and unprofessional regarding payment - I am seldom if ever late but on occasion if I am late, and I let her know in advance, she is completely unhinged. She is rude regarding school transportation simply because my son was the only one for a time - it’s not my fault the other kids left - and I pay for and require that service. And have for several years.
I am considering withdrawing my child simply based on the behavior of the director - it is unacceptable. "
"Great staff...Before I enrolled my sun here I visit 4-5 other daycare, few much closer to our place then this one. When I first visit the new born room I new my baby is going to feel like home here so I didn't care that I have to drive longer. The staff is great, they interact and care about every kid and they adjust with every needs that your kid may have. Thank you!"
"I live in del city and I travel almost 20 miles a day just so I can take my kids to this daycare. Haven't visiting 16 different daycares this is the only location I felt that my kids would be safe. It means so much to me that I can drop my kids off and honestly without a doubt in my mind know that my kids are safe in a caring environment. As a mom of three this daycare has been a life saver and the staff is amazing! They have worked with me with all my children through all there struggles and I appreciate them more then I can describe."
