"I loved the school until about the last 6 months. The aggressive child in my toddlers class and the lack of response from upper management to deal with a situation that caused a safety factor for the others in the class was very distrurbing and ultimately why we left. I also was disturbed by the turn over rate in both teachers and directors. We went through 3 directors just in the last 3 months. I got the impression from some of the staff that they were unhappy with the way management was doing things and I worry about teachers who don't feel appreciated. That can rub off on how they interact with the children. I was also concerned by hearing one of the teachers raising her voice at the children in the classroom. I don't yell at my children and I think that it is very poor role modeling and intimidating to them at this very young age and shouldn't be allowed. A firm voice yes, yelling no."
"Jeri, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when she guided us on our tour. She was kind, understanding, and did a terrific job of answering all our questions, no matter how trivial. It was clear from our interactions with staff and other students as they passed that La Petite seems to be a great place for kids to learn and grow. As we move towards making a final decision on where to place our child, La Petite is clearly at the top of the list."
"I would have rated all categories closer to 10 if it wasn't for the director. The person currently in that role is the only dissatisfier."
"Horrible. I've had so many issues with this school. When we first started I never knew who was my child's teacher, it seemed like and still does seem like I never know what class she will be in. One time I told them to give my daughter her inhaler ever 4 hrs and it wasn't done, in fact the director didn't even know where her medication was kept. When school pictures were done I didn't receive mine and the director straight up told me I needed to take care of it myself because she was going to go off on them if she had to do it. I also have witnessed a kid push my daughter while the teacher just stood there and didn't even say anything to the other child. I never get updates on precious status. And im pretty sure that when they were doing paper over veiws of what the child did through the day that they wrote the same thing on all of them, that show generic they were. My child started potty training and they will still put her in pull ups after they told me they wanted me to go buy a whole bunch of underwear for potty training purposes. My child is very sick often and so she needs to be hydrated 100% so one day a teacher told me my child wouldn't drink from a cup so she hadn't drank anything all day. If a child doesn't know how to drink to of a cup you should offer them help or give them a sippy if you're to lazy. Ive walked in on my child in time out and when I asked what she did they had put her in time out because she was crawling on the floor. Overall if it wasn't for the pricing of this school I would pull my child right now. Complete disappointment."
"Very impressed! The teachers and staff were all so very nice. Enjoyed how many security options are in place for the safety of my little one!"

"Overall, the teachers have been fantastic. My son is happy at this school. He has learned a lot and is spending a lot of time in the 4K classroom instead of preschool. Everything is good. The disheartening part is the teacher turn overs (which have slowed down recently) and the fact that a director doesnt stay at our school. I can count 5 in the 3 years we have been at this La Petite."

"Overall, I think it's been really good. There have been some communication issues over time (not hearing about something or not getting e-mails). Some staff changes have brought on some concern, but for the most part everything has been good."
"Mostly positive, love that they understand that my kiddos are from hard places and work hard to accomidate that. The teacher's deserve to be rewarded for all their hardwork and not passed up for promotions and pay raises for others. I want to know that my child's teacher is happy at her job."

"Overall, we have been very happy with LPA, since we began sending out 12week old son there in Aug 2013. The infant room is fantastic. During his time in the infant room I was welcomed in over my lunch hour to nurse my son. They had a chair in there for me and the teachers were wonderful to talk to. My son began potty training at 20 months, with the encouragement of one of his teachers at school, which was quicker than expected and I appreciate her noticing his readiness. Toddler rooms were great. My son had a successful year in the early pre-school room. He successfully completed potty training and learned so much. After the school year ended, there was a new director and suddenly teachers began to quit. It was a rocky summer. We have always loved the teachers and appreciated how much Gabe is loved. it's hard to leave a place where people take such great care and genuinely love your child. I am hopeful for a successful school year with fewer teachers leaving. Also, we are very excited about the addition of the Precious Status system."
