"I ask my children everyday if they had a good day and they always reply yes. They do a great job teaching the basics. I feel it has given my kids a leg up when they start going to public school."
"Good both teachers are caring and helpful"
"It was such a breath of fresh air from our last daycare. My child however has gone through 2-3 teachers already in less than 6 months. It's hard to get a repor with them. It's hard to communicate effectively sometimes when he doesn't have the same teacher or classroom daily even with the sprout about app. But my son use to be terrified of daycare and now he doesn't even say goodbye to me. He's learned so much we are very grateful for that."
"This school has taken a sharp decline over the past year with two non-communicative directors. The school is dirty and there is very little communication from the center or the teachers. We have had issues with being overcharged and then harassed for payment when it wasn’t even money we owed. I would not recommend this center to anybody."
"Compared to the Monona location, I would not recommend the Oregon location to others. This location had (1-3) staff who were passionate and caring to the kids. The rest (including the director) remind me of the horror stories you hear about things that happen at day cares. Cut corners like sharing sun screen are out of compliance and unacceptable. I have had to call this location into the licensing board more than once"
"Our child loves going to school at La Petite. The teachers are excellent and La Petite needs to identify ways to retain their great teachers"
"Besides pricing and staffing issues it has been good. Most of the teachers are great. But the prices are no longer competitive."
"Really enjoy it. We love our son's regular teacher, Miss Jenna. We love how engaged she is with not only our son but the other babies she watches. She does a great job sending photos to us during the day. She is a kind and caring person"
"Our 5-year-old has been at LP since early 2019 and has had a great experience the entire time. No complaints. Our 3-year-old has been at LP since 3/2020. During Covid, he had a great experience in the newborn room and 1-2 rooms. Then once he got to the 2-year-old and up rooms its ranged between tolerable and horrible. The only reason we haven't switched is that we know his next teacher is AWESOME (Laurie Schluter) and we live really close to LP. I keep having moments of regret thinking that I'm being selfish by keeping him there. If I knew what I knew today, I would have removed him at least 6 months ago. Unfortunately, you guys hold all of the leverage as switching daycares is a difficult task. But... you advertise that you're an educational daycare, so just maybe you'll figure it out and stop being the source of my biggest regret and personal expense. It's sad to think about how great of experience our first son has had while our second son may end up hating school because of the **** show at LP Oregon."
"Never any constancy with his teachers or room. Have witnessed things on the camera we do not agree with and have approached the director about. Feel he is on the wrong age group room a couple times a week."
"Amazing the first few years for first child. Care has significantly depleted the past two years as tenured teachers left."
"Our time with the school has been extremely frustrating. We felt trapped as there are not a lot of options for childcare in our area. The revolving door of staff, inaccurate"
"Overall we have been quite happy here. Our children enjoy going here and have thrived. The teachers who have been there for a while are excellent and we have a lot of confidence in them. Unfortunately there has also been a lot of turnover which has been disruptive for the remaining teachers and for the children. There have been a few rate increases in the last year and we hope those increases are truly going to the teachers and not towards shareholders of the larger parent company."
"Communication from the scho isn't consistent and expectations aren't uniform (lesson plans, meal plans, etc.). Biggest thing is our director left while we were out for summer and we were not informed until we showed up for day 1.The teachers and staff love my kiddo and help her have fun, learn and try new things each day"
"Our experience with La Petite has been VERY up and down. We've seen several directors and that seems to really impact the quality of care and the school overall."
