"Generally, the staff and teachers have been helpful in communicating issues or suggestions when it comes to my child but this is not the place for him and that’s ok. I wish there were more teachers in the classroom as there’s only one teacher to 15+ toddlers and that can be extremely challenging. There needs to be more hands on learning, supervision, and teacher/child engagement. I’m not accusing any teachers of abusing the children however, I have seen how some teachers handle the children and it is very concerning. There’s no need for anyone to lift up a child by their wrist or grab a child and shuffle them into seat. If it wasn’t for the Sprout About app, I wouldn’t be aware of these issues and would have to rely on my child to tell me that some people at the school had hit him (which he has—usually it’s the children hitting—they are not constantly supervised). There’s only so much one person can handle, hire more living/nurturing teachers to care for these children."

"The teachers work very hard from what we’ve seen, but they are often understaffed in our child’s room. The updates are not always timely or accurate and I’d like more visibility on the curriculum activities. The school leadership isn’t always responsive or knowledgeable with questions/concerns so we’ve taken to just going to the teacher’s for any information we need. Again, the teacher’s have been great, even in addressing our concerns and are why we stay. We’d really like to see a greater standard upheld by the leadership."
