"Great. Only feedback is we want more transparency about lesson plan so we can reinforce that learning at home"
"I love this school! I can tell the teachers are very loving and my child has a great time there. I am continually impressed with the things/education/facts my child comes home with."
"Great. Everyone has been accommodating and excellent with communication especially in confusing and stressful times like the pandemic has created. We feel thankful that our child is safe and cared for while we’re at work."
"Our kid looks happy to go to school each morning, and I believe this is the best review that we can write about the school. Teachers are sweet and warm. They keep us posted about daily activities sharing beautiful pictures with us. We are grateful for that. However, because of the pandemic restrictions, parents cannot get into the school and participate in any activities with their kids, which sometimes makes it difficult for us. I believe that school can foster a community between parents and teachers/directors, by, for instance, arranging regular meetings in-person or online, providing to each parents contacts of other parents. That would help, even more, the parents feel that they are part of their children's school journey."
"We’re very happy with our child’s care. She seems happy to go to school and is happy when she leaves. All the teachers have been great."
"Administration/Director could do better with communication with parents."
"Prior years were perfect. This year there was no permanent prek teacher. Son could not adjust to changing schedules and unexpecting teacher/aide every day. Staff did what they could but kids needed structure and there was none. Felt like it was a really bad year."
"I love the school. The one thing that I don’t understand is there are no shoes allowed in the baby class, but the toddlers are required to wear shoes while they are in there. Either they should keep them separate or allow the toddlers to take off their shoes. I chose this school when my son was a baby because of the shoe cover policy only to discover my son was still crawling around in toddlers shoe messes. The rule is almost pointless. Adults and toddlers walk the same places, it only makes since that shoe policy apply to everyone."
"It’s ok. It’s more like daycare than school."
"I think overall having my child at this school has been a good experience. She seems fine each day when I pick her up and smiles at most of her teachers when I hand her off in the mornings. One teacher in particular is very communicative with me in terms of how my child is doing each day, how her naps went, how she ate, and what mood she was in, and I really appreciate that. Most of the teachers seem happy and seem to really like kids and interact well with them. However there are a couple that seem to have a bit less experience and could potentially use some additional training on interaction with small children (i.e. interact with them in a way that furthers their development, talk to them, etc., rather than just jiggle toys in front of them). But overall, I definitely feel my child is safe at this school and generally happy as well."
"My experience is that the administrative staff/leadership does not communicate well with the parents and have a hands off attitude. The teachers are overwhelmed and not supported by management. My child is able to play and interact with other children, but I expect more for the money that is spent."
"I was very happy with the school until it came time to change into the pre-k class. The teacher teacher quit after a few weeks into the school year. After she left it was like the new teachers (who was already a teacher at the school) was unprepared. Everyday I would come to school hoping my child was learning something to prepare for kindergarten. The children colored everyday for 2 weeks. There was no morning reading. No problem solveing. It was like they had nothing educational for the children to do. They didn’t. We were told we MUST purchase (2) $79 books for the class. They had nothing else for the kids to do until the books came in. The book looks to be very boring and not something a child would like to use. I expected more. Why would the director choose this way to teach true children? Why when 1 teacher left the next teacher didn’t know what to do? If it was at all possible I would have moved my child to another school. But w/ the school year already started it was impossibl"
"I rarely write reviews. However, after the most disconcerting interaction with the Director, Claudia. Compels me to share, as to spare other parents.
Its very disturbing to see a review from 2016 reflecting my own issues with the Director. Her lack of communication, professionalism, and out right concern for my child has prompted me to move up the date to remove my child.
Overall the teacher's appear to do the best they can. However, i have yet to receive one paper reflecting them working on actual letters or numbers. We just started to receive a daily note again after two months of being told "they are very busy." Just to name a few.
In summary, i am very disappointed in the school and assume its convenient placement is the reason for its popularity."
"Generally, My experience has been overall satisfactory. I do admit, something’s could use a little fine tuning. Such as, the daily logs, I wish they were a little bit more accurate."
"It was fine until about 2-3 months ago when the mass exodus of teachers was not dealt with"
