"Previously mentioned. Loved the Teachers we had."
"One of the best child care in SAT and everything is pretty well organized and operational. You would love to see your kid through their app at any point of time."
"Overall, we love La Petite and what they offer. I know my child is learning so much everyday and it makes me more at ease and less guilty for having to be a working family. We will be enrolling our next child with La Petite in early 2019."
"They have a hard time retaining teachers. I understand it's a demanding and hard job I feel the agency should really compensate their educators well so that they do stay. It would be a win win for both the educators and children."
"When we came to La Petite, our youngest was 22 months and potty trained, we were looking for a daycare that would accommodate her use of the bathroom even though other kids her age may not be doing so. They embraced our child as she was as they know that each child reach this milestone at different times and were ready to support us in nurturing her. During the tour, they showed us the bathroom in our child's classroom and told us that if she was potty trained there was no need for diapers as Mrs. Tasha just needed to remind her now and then to go try and she has been true to her word. Our daughter has been going to the bathroom on her own since day one at La Petite; she has maybe had 4 accidents (soiled her clothes) in the year she has been here and they would change her and bag the wet clothes for us to take home at end of the day and she never needed to wear a diaper unless it was nap time. She has since graduated from diapers completely and Mrs. Tasha was so excited to share this development with us.
Our little one has been in Mrs. Tasha's class for over one year now and she has grown so much, she loves counting to ten, being read to, knows her colors and plays well with others most of the time. I love that Mrs.Tasha is kind and firm with the kids and consistent in her expectations of good behavior from each one of them. We see the benefits of circle time, reading, and art activities in the way our daughter carries herself especially her self confidence when we read the book," I like myself" together. This book describes what La Petite practices- for each child to like who they are by celebrating their uniqueness every day.
FYI- We came from a daycare on Babcock that was inconvenienced that our child was potty trained and kept insisting that she remain in diapers as there was a waiting list to get in the class that was potty training/trained and there was no one available to entertain her in the bathroom.
If you are a parent stuck in such a situation please know that La Petite is ready to nurture your child and encourage and celebrate them each day even in their journey out of diapers and beyond. La Petite has bathrooms in the children's classes where the teachers can watch them for the convenience of the little ones because they are in the business of caring for children so everything is designed around the needs of the children even tiny bookshelves where children can access toys, puzzles and books they need independently.
Another teacher we want to thank is Ms. Deema, the school age teacher for her patience and numerous activities she has going to keep all the older age groups engaged. No one can do what you do and we appreciate you so much. Our older daughter has moved on from simple writing to learning cursive writing by first tracing the letters then writing them out on her own. She is also learning how to read and math (addition, shapes e.t.c).
We are glad we selected La Petite, they welcomed us with open arms and continue to nurture our children's growth. We are also proud of the healthy menu at La Petite and their big playground where the kids play when weather is favorable.
Special thanks to Ms. Wanda, Ms. Marlen, Mrs. Tasha, Ms. Deema (school age class), Ms. Ana, Ms. Holly, Ms. Bridget, Ms. Desirae, Ms. Rosie, Ms. Oliva and all the other wonderful teachers who have been a part of our kids' lives at La Petite such as Ms. Aparna, Ms. Yemileh, Ms. Jaquelin, Ms. Callie, Ms. Nicole for the wonderful work you do everyday."
"I really love the school. Overall it’s a great place for my kiddo to develop."
"I love the school! My daughter enjoys going everyday and always asks about her teachers when she doesn't go. She's always welcomed my the director and staff. I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving under anyone else's care but them."
"I really appreciated Ms. Wanda's responsiveness and willingness to give us a tour despite being a walk-in. She was very warm and caring with the students, whom she knew by name."
"Even though my guided tour has been scheduled a week in advance I was passed from person to person which made me feel very uncomfortable with the reliability of the staff in charge of the facility. However the nursery staff was great, made me feel extremely comfortable with their ability to be attentive and caring towards my child"
"Not impresseded. With the price I'd be paying, I want to be comfortable and it be well kept. I left feeling very nervous for my son and very uncomfortable. The teacher Tasha did not seem very enthusiastic about my son. I will not be enrolling him. Thank you. Also did not like that I didn't get to meet with the director or have her do the tour for us."
"Too much turnover. My child has had 4 teachers in less than a year"
"Very good caring stuff. My son loves the school..I am having a wonderful experience."
"I am looking for one la petite that has open slots for my 20 month old and almost 4 yr old that has the Texas ready program as it is not economical to be driving to two locations. Is there a place on line to check la petites that have the Texas Ready program?"
"I was able to see how well my child fit in with the other kids in his age group. The stuff welcome him in as if he was already enroll."
"Caring attentive engaging staff, from the director to all the teachers, everyone is quick with a smile and a friendly hello and everyone knows my child, supports her and cares for her. Very warm atmosphere."
