"First of all I want to say that the staff are great with the children and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a daycare. With that being said, the rates are very high for a “school” that doesn’t help children prepare for kindergarten. I have always had high expectations that my child would learn the essential preschool basics which were said to be taught in their curriculum. Things such as writing his name, recognition of letters and numbers and some words. Many times at pick up I would witness that certain children were acting in ways that shouldn’t be accepted. I would hear of a child screaming at, spitting, hitting, and kicking teachers daily with nothing being done. La petite was good while it lasted for us but it definitely has become alarmingly busy in some classrooms and it just isn’t the same. "

"Its been okay. Just okay. Would love to rave about La Petite, but there is nothing to rave about. Prices go up constantly, anything extracurricular costs more money, etc. I get the vibe that this is a corporate run school with all the excuses about division this, division that as to reasons why my fairly reasonable requests and/or expectations are not met. I could even stomach most of this stuff if I truly felt it was about the kids. There are definitely some teachers who are engaged and care, but most do not, or don't show it very well. As a business, you could do better. As a business caring for our children, you could and should be significantly better."

"La Petite use to be the best in the whole Santa Clarita valley. The first two years with Sam acting as sole head of the location made it as great as it was. Flexibility, accommodations, and care for my children and myself is what made this locations the best out of 12 locations we looked at. In the past year with how La Petite has been slipping, I don't even think it ranks in the top 5 anymore. I am disappointed at the massive loss in stature and position. La Petite set the standard before and it can't even meet its own standard anymore while other still strive to beat it."

"While the teachers are warm, friendly, and responsive the curriculum/supervision in the school-aged room is lacking. Especially during their summer program, the amount of screen-time children are allowed to have is shocking. Also, the parking lot is a disaster and a stressful way to end a long day upon pick-up."
