It appears that staff turn over is high, not necessarily a good or bad thing.The paint on the front of the building is pretty bad, looks run down a bit.The tuition does seem expensive compared to the YMCA and community care."

"We have been very happy but are growing more concerned with the increasing rate of turnover in staff (and the lack of notice provided to parents). One of my children’s primary teacher is not there when I drop off or pick up so I am not able to hear much about my child’s day. When I ask questions at drop off/ pick up, I’m often met with “I wasn’t there” or “I don’t know.” Again, we are happy with the quality of staff - every teacher we have had demonstrates care."

Complaint is teachers seem to switch classrooms a lot so when I get my 14 month old the teachers in there sometimes weren’t with him during the day so can’t tell me anything about how his day went. I’ve also given messages to one teacher and they switch and the info isn’t communicated to the next teacher."

"Overall, we love it at La Petite. Where it has fallen short is the approach taken in splitting the Junior K and the Pre-K. The program was not communicated well to the parents and left many confused as to the requirements and criteria needed. There were also no deadlines given and many found out after the fact. This led to a lot of disappointment, confusion and frustration."

"I really like the school and the warmth of the teachers, director and the staff. The open layout is a plus too. Although I would like if the teachers were a little more involved with the kids' development. It would be nice if they do not play favorites. Because it affects the child's psyche even though it may seem very trivial right now. The school resources are excellent. The classroom is clean for the most part. The communication system (brightwheel)is superb. The food is very much blah. Wish there were more nutritious and interesting options. Plus more meals. For a full day I feel one meal + one snack is not enough. My child doesn't get water too outside of meals.Again, I like the school. It's much better than other schools I surveyed. But I would like a little more receptive attitude if I do have complaints/suggestions."
