"School is good but a bit pricey."
"School is always clean and organizedWe really hope that school keep the ratio down which contributes a lot to the quality of the care teachers can provide."
"I love the staff. If you could compete with the rate I'm offered at the church I would consider staying."
"We like the school. My only concern is that it is on a Main Street that is busy but I really like the amount of security to get inside. We met the prek teacher, Verlena, and she was very warm and seemed to embody all the qualities we would like in a teacher/care provider for our kids. My kids took to her very quickly and I think it would be an easy transition for my child. The director was very warm as well and seemed very involved in the school and knew the children (the few that were awake) I liked her energy."
"This is an excellent school to let your child begin her school years. The facility is clean and secure.I really like the way they provide in the group experience to children. My child has been going less than a month but I can already see changes for the better in her."
"My experience has been generally positive, but sometimes I almost feel like I walk in on conversations amongst employees that are maybe bad mouthing parents. I've also seen a cavalier/ rude attitude toward some children from some teachers. It makes me think there should be more staff than just the bare minimum-- especially for the high price we pay. Also-- I want to see more than the bare minimum on our daily sheets. I want to see activities, pictures, mood.. I only get the diaper changes, naps, and feedings.. Again, that tells me staff either doesn't care, isn't providing activities, or they are overworked and don't have the time."
"I loved it I just can't afford it."
"My child spent a year at the Simi Valley location. She loved it there, and we did too. When we moved, we decided to enroll her in the Diamond Bar location, and we regretted it almost immediately. My child disliked the food there, and what I saw was pretty processed. My child was hit on numerous occasions by another child, who she called the hitting boy. I was not informed by the staff, only by my child. When I asked about this and what was being done, I was told that my child was not really hurt, and they were working with the other child (this took several months). If my child is being hit by another child on a consistent basis, I should know about it. There were numerous occasions when we were informed on one day that we needed to bring items in the very next day for an activity, and this is not enough notice. They sent my child home on two occasions, saying that she had a fever. My husband had to leave work to pick her up, arrived within 30 minutes and took her home. Checked her temperature.... Both times, no fever, and my child was feeling fine. We couldn't even bring her in the next day because of policy. My child consistently felt that other students were favored over her, and she felt those students were bossy toward her because they were the teachers' helpers. I often came in to children berating my child for her choices, ex: bringing in a stuffed animal to sleep with, which she did daily for comfort, and bringing herb seeds instead of flower seeds when they were growing plants (said herb seeds disappeared along with the soil we brought. they were never planted in our daughter's pot, and we never saw them again. Not sure what was planted, but it was not what we brought.) Daily communication was exactly the same every single day. She always ate everything of the food she did't like, and she slept for the exact same period of time. I believe it was written in advance and was not accurate to how her day went. I hated this school."
"The new director seems unorganized and distracted. Comes off as unqualified. Polite but hard to deal with. Everyone else is wonderful."
