"In general, it seems that the school promises to a lot of things, but delivers on very little. We were told they did toilet training, but have seen none of this with our youngest. Our oldest has complained of being bullied, hit, and threatened by other kids, to which we brought tot he daycares attention, and were told it was being handled, that his was a know issue they were having with the two boys and other kids, but have seen no steps to stop. My child says when she tells the teachers, she is told to just stay away from the other boys. In general I have seen little to no academic work or curriculum used with my child. I have also witnessed a single teacher in a room with 15 - 20 small children by herself overwhelmed, while the rest of the staff is no where to be seen. It has been are overall negative experience."

"We have absolutely loved La Petite! Our son has attended since he was 8 weeks old (he’s currently 9 months). His teachers are always so helpful when we have questions and don’t know what we’re doing as first time parents. They truly love our son and we see his little face light up when he gets dropped off each morning!"

"Staff is friendly and communicates on a daily basis. Teachers are caring and gives us feedback when issues arise. There has only been one time where the school did not have fruit provided for our infant, which was fine. We were notified and were able to bring some from home. Classes are clean and organized."

"Overall it’s been fine. It’s very apparent that our child really enjoys it. It sometimes seems in the morning when she is dropped off it seems like there are not enough people watching the kids. It’s also a little frustrating that brightwheel info either isn’t working or teachers just aren’t updating the app as much. I like to know what she’s eating and how often she is getting changed. I get that they’re being active and involved with the kids, which is obviously the priority but it would be nice to know what reason it is that the app isn’t updated as frequently"

"Very nice people, great location. I’m not thrilled with having to walk thru other classrooms to get to the infant room. Sometimes the bigger kids are napping and I don’t want to disturb them."

"My daughter has been attending La Petite for about 2 months now in the prek class. I haven't heard one bad thing from her about this school. I don't like that they don't post on bright wheel that often and when I pick her up they don't really give me any information on my daughters development. Otherwise, I definitely recommend. The price is cheaper than other quotes I received and the location couldn't be more perfect. The ladies I've met in the office are nice and Sabrina is awesome, she called to check on my daughter the day after I called her in sick!"

"I absolutely love La Petite Academy in The Colony. Previously my son was enrolled at a home daycare and we were both nervous for the transition. Let me tell you it was the easiest transition I’ve had since becoming a mom 5 years ago. The teachers at this school truly care about the children in their classrooms. You can feel good vibes in this school. My son will continue to go to this school as long as possible. Highly recommend talking with Melissa if you even are considering a school/childcare for your children. She will make you feel welcome and you will leave with a smile and feeling like you child will be well taken care of."
