"Staff are very friendly attentive to the ch"
"Linda and Ivonne have been welcoming since day one. They made my husband and I feel very comfortable as first time parents leaving our kids. We voiced our concerns about our children and they didn’t disregard them."
"Good teacher my son loves going there , issues we had they help resolved them quick , really good school"
"Great! Both my child and I were having a hard time adjusting of him going to daycare. Director has been very supportive and listen to me anything I had a concern or questions. We have finally adjusted and I am gratefully for the support from both Director and staff"
"Everyone, but Kecia, is an asset to this school. There could be more emphasis on academic, structured time. Having the school-age children run free most of the time has contributed to the overall behavior issues with all the children, mine included."
"I've gone through two directors at this location and multiple assistant directors. I think that the transition has been great as I was nervous for that shift. But Ms. Kecia took over and has blown me away by the transformation she has made at La Petite physically and with the curriculums and programs offered. I loved this place before and love it even more!"
"I worked here for 6 months and it didn't take long for the issues and problems to start arising. First some of the teachers are extremely rude to the kids yelling and cussing in some instances. Also some of the teachers would even talk negatively about the parents to other teachers and in some instances other parents. "
"I am preschool teacher for 30 years. I can tell you in all my life have never worked at more of a "bad" school with harsh discipline methods amongst some staff members. Especially the School Age teacher who luckily I didnt have to work with on a daily basis. Not on is she rude towards me ( I was new and started Feb 2023 and left to a much lower paying job closer to home after one month) She was mean to her students but she did have her favorites. Some other teachers I worked with were great. The co director Ms J, was just as rude as the school age teacher and I was never able to feel comfortable in talking to her. Now Ms K the director of the school was very kind to me but never fixed any issues that I had with other staff members who werent nice. I came to work 45 mins away and suppose to work 4/5 hour schedule only for the co director to tell me to go home early after 2 hrs. It was annoying. I read a review from Briana Garcia, though I quit a month in I did see a lot of what she talked about in her review on here. Please Listen to everything she wrote because in my short time there i was defiantly appalled by how things were ran. I walked away with 2/3 new friends but that was it. I tried with many and asked for help but only to "talked" to because I had to know my place there. Many of the children that attend this preschool/daycare are foster children with a lot of behavior issues. I believe 75% of the school was. I was bitten, slapped and kicked. I saw some hard working teachers take a beaten daily from some of her kids in the Pre K2 class and it was always hard to watch and I stepped in when I could.
They Pay and benefits and training is great. I wish other schools paid as well, but now i wonder if its hush pay. LOL But be careful and know your worth before accepting a job here. Something has got to be fixed. "
"As someone who has worked here, I can advise you to beware and to please never bring your children here. This is not a safe environment for your little ones what so ever. I have 5+ years in educational childcare settings/school districts so I have seen it all, but this is by far the worst. When I first started here I was shocked to hear the way my coworkers spoke to the children saying things like “What are you color blind?!” “Don’t be so stupid!” “You want me to take you to the restroom?!”. Over time I had to involve licensing because I saw my coworkers cuss and yell unnecessarily at the children as well as seeing pinching, grabbing the children forcefully/pushing them, slap their bottoms and the list can go on with how nightmare-like this place gets. Of course licensing did nothing because they put on an act and sent all the kind teachers on early breaks when they were asking questions so they emailed me the case was closed because they didn’t witness it when they went to inspect. Before I even went to licensing I informed my supervisors Kecia Loving and Jeanette whom yelled at me accusing me of lying that I was making all these accusations up. I soon discovered they knew exactly what was going on with certain coworkers and pushed it under the rug or turned a blind eye. My coworkers began to become very catty and it felt like they were upset by my methods as well as anyone who knew how to work with kids with proper kindness and patience. I would mostly assist in the school agers classroom with Elizabeth Martinez and where do I begin..I could automatically tell she has anger issues, but never would come to think she would verbally harass/bully me. She started to become extremely rude (more than she already was) when this job is based on communication for the children. She would making comments to other workers that I wad trying to take over ‘her’ classroom and long story short she started to say things like “get the f*** away from me before I flip the f*** out.” She was also a recovering alcoholic who came high everyday to work which isn’t an excuse to act this way, but again it just shows hoe unprofessionally ugly these people are. I was in shock at her behavior and eventually went to my supervisor who again made me feel at fault or as if I was being dramatic that for months my coworker was wrongfully treating the children and I. At this point I knew where my heart was and it was for the children so I tried to keep reaching out to licensing and pushing through for the children, but there was only so much I could do with how toxic my coworkers were making this job it felt like working with mean high school girls that would gossip about anyone that was nice or even about the kids or families worked with. Save yourself the time, money, and your children’s trauma. There are copious instances in this place than you can imagine, so please please keep your little ones safe and take them somewhere that has genuine loving quality care!!

"I believe they are understaffed and instead of 10-15 student the have 24-30 in one class. My son can’t learn or be heard because of this and Kecia loving, the principal doesn’t seem like she has a clue what to do aboutbit"
"Great teachers. Ms teshaun and sedina"
"Overall good experience, however I believe it is time for the building to be updated"
"This school is awesome. My kids love it. I love seeing them on video on Sprout About. Their teacher Mrs. Jeide is great. She teaches well and interacts great. All the teachers are great."
"My son refused to stay at another school. He had separation anxiety. His teachers wouldn't cooperate in helping him. That is when I decided to enroll him here. The teachers worked with him and made him feel safe. He comes home every day telling me how he loves school and everybody there. Everyone there is great!"
"I’m am very happy with La Peti"
