"Our experience with school has been great so far. It did take him a couple weeks to get adjusted. From the beginning, he cries in the morning when we drop him off, but now he smiles and waves goodbye at us when we drop him off. We saw him grow so much in the past couple months and learn a great deal from both teachers and his little friends!"

"Positive so far and I've seen my child quickly excel in many activities since enrolled. I love all the different and creative activities and skills that are being practices with my child. One thing I would love to receive more of is a weekly/daily curriculum so I can better align what we do and talk about at home with what my child has done during that day/week.Also love the frequent Spirit Week and Summer Camp activities planned. Gives me something fun to tell my child about the day before and gets her excited to go to school each day. The only real challenge we've had so far is nap time. My child is almost 5 years old and struggles with the designated nap time and most days just tosses & turns for 2.5 hours. And most days doesn't want to go to school simply b/c of not liking having to sit there that long during naptime. I feel as though a 12 Noon naptime is too early for this age group. Something later in the afternoon like 1 or 2:00 seems more appropriate."

"Overall we feel great about choosing La Petite and this location. We don’t like the lack of communication and having to guess how our child’s day was because we never get the opportunity to see teachers now that we are not permitted, with reason, to come inside."

"Generally, love LPA. Cori is fantastic, as are so many teachers we have had (Colleen, both Sara/Sarah’s, Melanie, Kennedi, Michael, Taylor, and Nathan) but we have had two teachers (Theresa and Alycia) who genuinely seemed to not like my older child. He’s a little free-spirited and I could feel their frustration and anger towards him, and he absolutely hated them as his teachers. We did address with Cori and it helped a lot, but there should be more understanding on how to handle “difficult” kids - not every kid is perfect. Other teachers (all of those listed above) found ways to work well with him, engage him, and teach him. Theresa and Alycia just could not adapt with him or even seem to care to find ways to work with him. They both specifically gave me “advice” on how to parent him. Not only was I offended (I have two other perfectly behaved children :)) but I was frustrated that they blamed their issues on our parenting. We have never had issues with any other teacher and love LPA otherwise!!"

"I have really enjoyed having my kids here. My daughter had communication problems and the teachers were more than willing to implement recommendations from her early interventionist. We have other schools/daycares closer to home but we have no plans to move."

"The teachers are great and really seem to care about my children. The administration is friendly but they often defer to La Petit policy as a way to deflect issues we have. Specifically there are policies in the infant room that are unfavorable and not conducive for us to send any future infants. We stay for the teachers who try very hard to work within unreasonable constraints and poorly researched policies/practices."
