"I sent a text to LP Gear inquiring about a new stylus and cartridge that would be a reasonable upgrade. They responded quickly with 4 cartridges that would do the job, rating them good, better, great and superior. I shot questions back with immediate responses. I decided on the superior suggestion and it arrived a few days later. I bought the set with headshell attached. The setup was natsass on the money.
My album collection from the late 60's through present has been played extensively on my Bang & Olufson linear tracking TT. I now use a USB setup to digitize my hard to find vinyl. I have BLACK SABBATH- Born Again with Ian Gillian on vocals playing now.
The cartridge is the LP GEAR AT95SA ....this needle picks up no album wear, pops or clicks....just music. Played on 35+ year old albums....yeah man!

"I recently purchased a replacement stylus for a cartridge recently from LP Gear. I also purchased a number of other items. I own six turntables and I thought that I would give this outfit a try. Big mistake. I put the new stylus in the cartridge and played a record. It sounded very distorted. I tried another record and same thing. I tried both records on a different turntable with its own stylus and they were fine. I replaced the stylus with the old original stylus and the records played without problem. I then cleaned the stylus (going back to forward with a stylus cleaner) and the cantilever snapped off. I returned the stylus and was sent an unbelievably condescending letter(from this "rome" individual) stating that this must have been my fault as all of their products are "inspected" prior to shipment. I will never, ever use this company again and would advise others to be very wary. I should have read these reviews prior to sending my order."
"After my first positive transaction I was happy to do business again. The 2nd time around, they advised me to buy the wrong item and were complete jerks when trying to sort it out. As in they won't communicate with you for weeks. Then they want YOU to pay for their mistake. What a shame."
