"I went into their retail store to purchase a cpu fan, the sales rep was rude, he brought me out some cheap sock370 fan, not the one that I asked for. he finally brought out the one that I wanted after the 4th time of going to the back.

Never again.

"I'm an electrical engineer that likes a nice home network. I live near LS Micro so it usually is convenient to shop there. I tried to pick up a necessary Item on Saturday just before closing at 4:54. A customer was trying to get in the store. It was closed up early. I tried to knock, no answer. Three more visited before 5:00 closing time. All found the store closed. I waited around until after 5:00 and the two employess open the door from the back in to the store after 5:00. I knocked to get in and they just point to their watches that it is closing time. I have found very little attention paid to customers. Their service has much to be desired. They are not very helpful when you need some helpful suggestions. They could do alot to improve their customer relations."

"I'm a casual cp builder, and had my fist experience with ls micro late last year (2002). I will never step foot in an ls micro store again. Every piece of hardware I've purchesed from them has had to be returned for failure at least one time and some several times. On the last return of a spacewalker Mobo for the 4th time I was told that they no longer carried that board,and it would take 6-8 weeks to get it back for repair. when I asked what I would do for a cp for the next 2 months I was told I could purches another Mobo. They were not interested in any kind of adjustment toward another board of higher quality. I ask about an asus a7n8x ($155.00 and upgrading to a 2400xp cpu $164.00). Any kind of adjustment would have made me happy. Their reply to me was "what will we do with a junk Mobo". The next day I did buy an asus a7n8x and the 2400xp cpu ($134.00 Mobo $160.00 cpu) from Totally Awesome. You Guys at Ls micro should take a page from Super Dales book on customer relations. You're not the only retail computer component store in the Wasatch Front and deffinently not the best priced. "

"I have done business several times and built 2 computers buying parts through them. I find them not particularly friendly for the first time customers and their finance system does take a bit of time to work through. ONthe last order I put together a home use computer and had my answers within justr few moments after the sales/service people finished with the customers ahead of me. I would rate this experience about 7 out of 10.

Just a comment about purchasing parts from any retailer. If you do not inspect the merchandise in the presence of someone at the store before you pay for it, I am not very impressed with your business sense. I always check parts out before I leave the store to insure the parts are new and I always insist on uncirculated parts. Sometimes it costs me more, but I do get what I need that way. So If you want new parts verify they are new parts before you purchase them.

"My brother wanted to do an upgrade on his computer. He consulted with me and and we decided on a motherboard and cpu from LS Micro. Its been my favorite place to shop for years now. I went down to the store in Salt Lake with him to make sure he received the correct parts. The sales clerk unfortunatley had more on his mind than selling me parts. He wouldnt take a check from my brother because he hadn't been through their meaningless system yet. I told the guy to put him in the system then. He refused. He said it would take too long. He then went on to tell me I would have to pay for the parts and then my brother could pay me back. How stupid. I paid for the parts and was reimbursed. But talk about crappy customer service. Its ok to take time to work with your customers. Its ok to put the customer in your stupid system so he will come back and buy more. I think that stupid system sucks. Get rid of it.

On a positive note the parts worked perfect. No problems so far. On this day I had great equipment, crappy Customer Service.

"I don't have my receipt. That's my whole problem. I live in Logan, Utah, about 90 miles north of where LS Micro is located in Salt Lake. I know that LS Micro has all of my purchasing information (because they managed to bill my credit card twice for a single transaction) and I know that I have all of my personal information allowing a positive match to be made between their records and my own. Nonetheless the salespeople wouldn't allow for a return for credit despite my inability to return to the store before their 30 day return policy expired. Not only did they simply fall back on a lame "We don't make the policy" excuse they didn't offer to allow me to plead my case to someone in charge of policy. I am now saddled with a low quality power supply (a complete lapse in judgment-- rest assured, Joel, I have no intention of ever buying from you again and those people who ask me where to buy are being directed to newegg like I should have done in the first place). This company has been a decent place to buy from in the past. Overpriced, yes, and filled with generally ignorant sales staff but at least manageably so. Don't buy from this company. Their customer service is severely lacking."

"LS Micro disgust me. There website is a joke and the store is evern worse. The prices aren't very good at all and the people only care about getting there money. Once they get there money they have no need to care about you anymore. I am very dissatisfied and regret making all my purchases from them. So far CompUSA, yes that does say CompUSA, has been the most reliable local computer store, sad but true. EBC, TAC, and LSM must all be the same company because they all do the same thing, screw the customer as much as humaly possible."
