At this time, November 16, 2011- I don't have all my furniture and refund check given to me was not good. I am thinking of going to the police for fraud and theft. "These people are straight crooks. They took the money out of my account for a couch I never recieved. You can never ever get through to customer service. Only an answering machine. I was only able to contact a sales rep named Alice by email. It was non stop excuses as to why I did not recieve my couch. After 3 months I was able to cancel my order without a %40 fee. Then I had to wait an additional 2 weeks for a refund. Once that time had passed I once again could not get a hold of anyone so I called the sales line not the cutomer service line over and over until I got a response. Alice said they are not going to refund my money and the best way to get my funds is to file a claim againt them with my bank. Which I did. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKED!!!!!!"

"After reading all the reviews about them, I was very skeptical about giving them a deposit. And I never did. I dealt with this guy called Milan who was nice and friendly. He didnt press me for the deposit but asked me to come back and check after a week. Sure enough, as per the reviews, the container was not in after a week. But I think its the same scenario with other stores as well. My friend ordered a sofa from Raymour and Flannigan which is almost 4 weeks overdue. So I guess, I can live with that. Milan was good in responding through emails and kept me posted. They got it after 2 weeks and then I went to the store, paid it off and took it on the same day. They had asked me for $80 for delivery to Jersey city, but then all the reviews spooked me. I rented my own UHaul and got the bed assembled by myself. But it was the mental peace that matters. The parts were all intact and the assembling was easy. I met Leo as well and I sincerely think that they are trying hard to repair their name. I didn't sense any arrogance in him and he does speak English and their customer service is good. I would definitely give them 4 stars. "

"Purchased a sectional from a store with LaFlat logo on it 3 yrs ago. The delivery was fine. I know not to order custom furniture as mistake happen often and delivery times are just a shot in the dark.
Seeing the logo glued to the pleather unevenly should tell you something about the quality of their products.
It's great to be able to remove the "micro-fiber" and wash it in the washing maching. It sucks when on the second time the zipper breaks. It also stinks when the material is of such low quality.
The pleather has started peeling off after only 3 years. This is the absolute worst quality material on some of the nicest furniture that I've purchased. You can't even relegate it to the basement, that's how bad it is."

I want to join in. They have business addresses in New Jersey, New York, Massachussetts, and California. I have been dealing with New Jersey. Yesterday, a driver named 'Steve' dropped off our merchandise and though the sectional was the correct model, the color does not represent what was advertised on their site. They sent us some grayish/beige color sectional. It should have been dark beige pinstripe on the bottom; light beige for the cushions; and Brown and beige large pinstripes for the backings and sidearms. When the driver opened the first piece we noticed it was not correct. He said the slip covers may be in one of the other packages. Well, after the 4th and final package was opened... no slipcovers! He said to note on that on the invoice and that they could send out the slip covers. After looking at the sectional I noticed that there was no way the bottom part could be changed (unless I was a furniture craftsman), becuase the fabric was solidly connected throug the legs, and does not 'slip' off as a slip cover would. I called him the next day, and he told him even if they send the slip covers, how are they going to change the color on the bottom to what they advertised on the internet because the legs are attached! He said he understood, and told me to call the main number ***-***-****. I already called them twice that morning and left messages with no answer! I threatened legal action against them. Finally some man named 'Vitaly' called and I told him our story. I told him we want the sectional in the colors we ordered based on the picture they put on the internet He said he would see what he could do and would call us back. Still, 24 hours later, we have no returned call!
I think the only way the state of New Jersey will do anything is with a class action suit against them. Please e-mail me at ****@**** if you are interested in pursuing justice against this company! We need to get a group together to get justice!

They delivered the wrong furniture and the piece they delivered was damaged to top it all off. They promised to replace it in 2 weeks, but a couple of months and many unanswered messages later (they rarely pick up the phone), I called my credit card company, they are trying to get my money back, but it looks like they are well versed to handle disputes.
ADVICE: Check the item before the delivery people leave. If it is damaged or it is the wrong item, DO NOT SIGN the invoice or anything else. The delivery company is in bed with Laflat and if you sign even with a comment, it gives them a great advantage when it comes to disputes.
These guys are running their business under 2 names : "LaFlat Group" and "LaFlat, Inc.". You can find them under both names on the Better Business Bureau website, I suggest you take a look before you do business with them. They remind me very much of organized crime..."
"I wish I had read the reviews first. I could have saved myself ALOT of stress and aggravation. I'm not convinced that the company is not completely fraudulent. Do yourself a favor... do not shop with this company. Check all of the reviews first. If you value your money, time and customer service, you'll be HIGHLY disappointed. After a complete lack of response regarding my order, I finally canceled it as well as my credit card. I notified the company of this via voice mail and email. This company is the WORST company I have every dealt with. They didn't deliver any product (it has been 6 months), they first refused to give me a refund, and when they finally did, the check bounced. I am now going to court with them to get my full refund. "I ordered the whole nine yards from LaFlat.com! My furniture arrived 5 days later, everything was superb! The quality of the furniture is amazing for the price! I ordered a big corner sofa, I bought a dining table, four leather chairs, coffee table, bedroom chest and queen size bed with a mattress!
It was great, and delivered on time, their customer service is good, I can't say that it's great, but hey, I've been in their main office, and the phones are going like crazy, so that kinda explains their customer service, they are just overwhelmed!"
