Upon returning for a refund would not offer full payment when both bulbs were sent back and the customer service representatives rush you off the phone and all they say is sorry. I attempted to callback this company to further address the refund issue and they would not answer my calls. Would not recommend."
"I purchased an "Epson" replacement bulb from Lampedia. I could have found cheeper bulbs but I wanted a quality bulb. I was mislead. Even though it was labeled an Epson bulb -- it was an OEM replacement. (I confirmed that when I called Lampeda today for help). My bulb has only 119 hours on it and it has begun to flicker. I called and my warranty was out by 20 days. Absolutely no help from Lampedia. Tough break for me but I wont be fooled again. Buy elsewhere."
"I placed an order for a lamp for my acer h6510bd projector on November 19th. I spoke with a rep who told me that I would receive the exact same bulb (osram) that came in my projector brand new. This was my first replacement and my projector was only a year old at this time. I received a Phillips bulb instead. After installing the new bulb, the projector would overheat and shut off after 5 minutes. I immediately called lampedia and asked for a replacement and asked if they had the osram bulb that I had requested in the first place. They said that they did and that they would send it immediately once they received the faulty bulb. I was upset because I expected to have a working lamp for thanksgiving, but they wouldn't send another until they had confirmation that it was returned. Before I repackaged the faulty bulb, I decided to mark it with a black marker on the inside of the housing in case they decided to return the same bulb to me, just in case. After i mailed the faulty bulb, they sent me an email saying that they didn't have the osram bulb and that they had sent another Phillips bulb instead and told me that they had no osram bulbs. Finally after 3 weeks, I received the new bulb. It worked fine for me for 4 months of minimal use (less than 500) hours and then it stopped working. These bulbs are rated at 5000 hours and it didnt even make 10% of that. I contacted customer service. They offered to replace the bulb just as long as i paid for the shipping. I was outraged but i still paid for the shipping. Within a few weeks i received another bulb. This bulb lasted 200 hours and then exploded 2 months later. When I called them, they told me that despite sending me 3 faulty bulbs in a row, that my warranty was now up and that they would do nothing for me. I reminded them of the "sale of goods" act that states that a company is responsible even beyond warranty if a product does not last a reasonable amount of time. They laughed at me and told me to have a nice day. Upon removal of the broken lamp, I noticed that they had sent me the first bulb that I had returned to them as it had my marking that I had placed on the inner lamp housing. They actually returned the first bulb that was faulty to me as a replacement! I have emailed several times asking for a number to speak with a manager or someone in charge and have gotten no response. These people are crooks and sell garbage. They will ride out your warranty sending u returned products while making you pay for shipping and then laugh and turn their backs once the warranty is up. You have been warned! "based on the reviews posted on this sit i decided to order a bulb from lamp pedia and not apex lamps whos reviews where very bad as i ran through and looked at the final steps it dawned on me they are both the same company anyone looking for a lamp should be aware of this when reading these reviews which leads me to ask why they are so different then it dawned on me again to look at the dates of the reviews the bad reviews come befor the good ones looks like a case of trying to hide a crappy company under a new name so i called to place an order in person and sure enough crapy company oh well guess i will keep looking"
"Ordered a lamp and it worked great for about 10 hours and then died. I am assuming it was just a bad lamp which I understand happens. The best part was that this was a few months later and the warranty still covered the lamp. The customer service was AWESOME! I was able to email them back and forth on the same day (which almost never happens even with companies who have great service). They sent me the label to send it back and sent out a replacement when they confirmed that the old lamp had been sent. Non of that waiting for them to process the RMA business. I love when a company trusts me to send something back and understands that I need the product that didn't work out. That is something that not very many companies do either, but it goes a long way in my book. Long story short, great, responsive, and polite customer service by e-mail. Consider me pleased!"

"I did not have a positive experience. I ordered a lamp for my Samsung DLP television. The webiste had me select the type of lamp that I needed, which I did so correctly, but they sent me the wrong lamp. Since I selected the right lamp model, I thought that I should have gotten the correct lamp sent to me ASAP. It already took 5 - 7 days to receive the first one I got. I asked to speak to a manager, who wasn't available so I asked for a call back. I never received that call. Out of frustration and the desire to get my tv working again. I found a local place where I bought the lamp that day and was able to watch tv that night. I used to work in customer service and I was appalled at their lack to work with me especially since they confirmed it was an error on their website. I don't plan on ever using lampedia again. "
