"You can't find any customer service for help. The numbers ***-***-**** and ***-***-**** do not work (it is just a robot machine playing music). They don't reply to any emails. They sold me a dead battery and I returned it back to them but they refused to refund me. I am going to call my Credit card company for payment hold. They are fake and scammers. Don't order anything from them. You will never get a refund or exchange if things do not go smooth(don't try them). I was misguided by the adds made on their website."

Another year has passed us by, and the battery purchased from laptopbatteryone is still going strong.

At the very least, you can count on the battery they supplied for my Compaq laptop.

This is a follow-up to my review, found below.

The battery has been working superbly. And support has been in contact with my, via several emails. They wanted to be certain that I was given the option to cancel my order, or refuse shipment. As I've stated below, I do not take issue with the product quality.

If you encounter difficulty with their "sales" phone number, as I did; I recommend using their support phone number, or support email, for support related issues.

I recommend this company.

The battery ordered was received in excellent condition. It was shipped priority mail. The packaging is superb.

The addition of their brochure presents a comprehensive FAQ (frequently asked questions) that goes above and beyond ANY document I have ever received alongside an electronic purchase. It is trifold, high-gloss, colorful; and despite the white knockout text - it is easy to read.

True to their word, when you email support@ you WILL receive a reply within 24 hours, as promised.

Laptopbatteryone website is easy to navigate, and I was able to choose my matching replacement battery within minutes. It was a pleasure to use. The battery itself proved to be an EXACT fit and replacement for my Compaq CQ60.

My battery experience was 100% satisfaction, ie fit, powered up, discharged normally, and recharged correctly; all the first time.

I am overly cautious about utilizing customer service via their phone lines for contact. My purchase was not followed up with the customary email confirmation. I found this very frustrating. Using the company number was as exasperating as this review. If they are receiving higher than normal call volume, this company lacks the infrastructure to offer any more service than:

1. picking up the phone
2. saying "please hold"
3. putting you on hold

or

1. their phone service call goes to busy signal

The online chat appears to be AI (artificial intelligence); or at least scripted for response - as it tries to minimize any tensions involved - it partly succeeds.

Any promises made, by online chat were not honored - or perhaps I asked them something that they were not empowered to do (ie. have someone call me) - and the online CSR (customer service representative) simply tried to be pleasant and take ownership of my problem.

Having made this purchase with a credit card that doubles the one year warranty - I am hedging my purchase so that in case of a problem - I will be able to make use of my credit card warranty and avoid using laptopbatteryone customer service for any phone based communication.

Product is excellent. Online service is very good. Good old fashioned phone service is lacking and needs improvement when dealing with high call volume."

"I made an order 28 Feb 2013. I was sent a tracking number that never made any further shipping progress. I got concerned and called customer service where they told me that my battery was back ordered. I'm getting no progress reports about the product that I ordered. After reading similar stories, I think I'm gonna cancel my order and wait forever for my refund.

Update: March 24, 2013 and I still haven't received my battery YET! I enquired about my battery March 28, 2013. I was informed that the battery had shipped that day. I confirmed shipment address, and then was told that I should receive it within 3-5 business days. There was no new tracking number generated, so that really left me to wonder. Well so far NO NEW BATTERY! at this point in time. THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY EVER! I will never shop with this company again. This company will be shared as a negative resource on social media sites to inform possible customers of their poor service."
