Pathetic with no English and customer service skills

"A complete joke of uk asus. No customer service, no communication. And refund is a brain killer process. They have no roots in uk other then where they originated from. You order it on uk store you expect it from their uk store customer service to deliver you items. But wait no, they have contractors and different dodgy online shops who fullfil their orders. There's no uk asus shop people. I ordered rog17 strix. An email came to me that laptop uk will deliver it. 1500 pound out of your pocket and no communication regarding delivery. I have been ringing them from 2nd day of order when? Oh our external warehouse.. Bla bla. Means they fob you off with this excuse and will not confiirm any thing with you. Another word is "hopefully" you will get order by...... This date. Extremely horrendous service. All representatives with no English communication skills. I'm dying to get my money back now. And the guy over the phone said this again... Our external warehouse.... Omg Stfu I'm listening to this BS past one week. Please read uk asus laptop outlet reviews before you buy anything from asus. Go see their reviews on goo3. People are crying for refunds, damaged products and faulty items... No service or aftercare. Once money is outta of your account account you are on your own then... I cautioned them that if you don't refund asap i will involve my bank.and you know what the guy replied.. "its not going to make any difference" means F O.... "

I was robbed by the Laptop outlet

"I bought an ASUS Zenbook 14” from the PC Outlet store on 20/06/2021 paying £900 and I didn't receive any updates via email regarding the purchase I had made. So I contacted the customer service team on the day the product should arrive and they said everything was normal and that my purchase would be delayed. So I decided to cancel the purchase and ask for a refund, but I was unsuccessful. So far I have to get in touch every day asking and the answer I get is that they need warehouse authorization. it feels like I'm in a nightmare. DO NOT BUY IN THIS STORE. they don't give any value to the customer."

They cancelled the order on the day it was supposed to be delivered

"Over the moon to have got very discounted laptops to give to my grandchildren who are like most families at the moment going through a bad time because of lockdown. The laptops were purchased and paid for immediately but on the day they were to be delivered, Laptop Outlet cancelled the order, citing pricing errors. They weren't interested in replying to me, nor did they want to discuss the issue. However, the next day, the laptops I had ordered were back on their website for much more."

Stay away, appalling customer support. They ignore you and even lie to you.

"Thought I was buying my device from ASUS as I was on their official website but it turned out I was actually buying from that company I had never heard of before, and man I'll make sure I never buy from them ever again!!!
Everyone seems so happy about their purchase, and yeah, they're quick to take your money and send your order, which is cool I guess as long as whatever you buy works, but if you have an issue with your device, if it's faulty, then good luck!
They openly lie to you (and ASUS confirmed it), ignore all your questions and your emails when you try and explain things many different ways for them to hopefully finally understand (they won't), they ignore the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (which pretty clearly covers my personal case but they always dodged it even though they confirmed reception of my different communications) and Alternative Dispute Resolution schemes, all you'll ever get from their customer "support" team is the same template reply ever and ever again, don't even try discussing, they won't read and certainly won't acknowledge your rights. They won't be working with you to find a solution, you'll have to do it their way (which they pretend is the "industry process" when it's absolutely not - I've worked in the industry for many years up until 8 months ago) or you'll be stuck in absolute non-sense. I just can't figure out whether it's by lack of training/knowledge of the law or if it's malicious, but in any case they had plenty of opportunities to admit they were doing things wrong. This has been going on for 6 weeks now and it's not going anywhere.
I am now engaging legal procedures for something that should have been straight forward: a simple replacement for a faulty product.
And after what I have seen, read and experienced, something tells me this will take for ages and that they won't comply. I've lost £600 already and this might cost me much more in the end.

I can see the "make sure your review doesn't get flagged: No accusations that can't be proven", well let me specify here that I can prove every word I wrote above.

Stay away from these guys and be cautious, they hide in plain sight, as an independent reseller on official manufacturer websites that can't be bothered to handle the sales.

Order Delayed, Then Failed to Confirm Shipment

"Ordered a refurbished Win95 laptop on May 17. Sent an email on May 25 asking for an update. Garin replied saying he had some questions. Spoke with Garin on May 28. He told me it would ship by May 30 and I would receive on May 31. Emailed Garin on June 4 requesting an update. Left a voicemail on June 13 asking for an update. He said he had been out of the office for 12 days and that mine was the next order he would fill. He told me to call him on June 14 and he would give me a tracking number. Credit card was charged on June 19. Called Garin on June 21 and he told me that the laptop had been shipped and was in transit. He said I should refuse to sign for the Fed-Ex package, they would return it to him, and he would refund the credit card charge. Emailed Garin on June 21 asking for the tracking number. No reply. Contacted credit card company on June 22 and disputed the charge."

ASUS laptop nightmare

"I bought an ASUS Rog Strix laptop from the ASUS UK store online (which was subsequently passed on to Laptop Outlet to fulfil) and the laptop arrived quickly, which was appreciated.
However, the laptop was supposed to come with a 1tb Firecuda SSHD and instead came with 1tb Barracuda HDD. Ok, I thought, minor issue. Surely will be easy to rectify. Very wrong! I rang up and the team member told me no problem, send us pictures confirming this. I’ll try to cut a very long story short — around 10 phone calls and 20 emails later, still no resolution. Laptop Outlet wants me to send the laptop back. They have promised no replacement, or even indicated that this will happen. I have been told by them that these laptops only come with HDD in this model, but their website is still advertising the Firecuda model, which is absolutely fraudulent. I now do not believe that this model ever comes with SSHD, as when I have looked at other stores, they all state HDD for this precise model. Members of staff have admitted via email that it’s correctly HDD, while other staff members are trying to convince me that it really is an SSHD. Just madness really, and no reasonable resolution offered.

I’d be happy to send the laptop back if a confirmed replacement was coming, and have suggested a straight swap at the point of delivery. I do not trust that my issue will be dealt with at all once the laptop is with them, as they are evading any questions about if a replacement will ever actually happen. At this point, I honestly don’t even trust I’d get a refund unless I went through PayPal Buyer Protection.

I do not want to be in a position where I am waiting for a replacement for weeks that will never arrive, all the while losing out, as I need the laptop for work.

Avoid this company, shop elsewhere. Lots of local companies could do with the business. Deeply regretting my decision to go straight to manufacturer ASUS to buy this, as it’s being subbed out to this company, where there are so many team members and departments, that nobody has coherently dealt with my issue.

Bad bad bad!

"Don't purchase from these guys their warranty and service isn't worth the effort it is taking me to write on this review. I purchased a laptop which after light use from my wife inserting the component plug i.e ac into the dc jack yanked out the charger port. After checking on the HP website it clearly states "Product sold without warranty". The item purchased was listed as a "These are Open boxed / Returned units that are professionally refurbished."

The unit provided obviously didn't have any warranty provided from the start and as far as I know this supplier isn't a HP approved service centre, the staff directed me to take to a 3rd party, bearing in mind that any tampering in this way would void their non-existant warranty.

After enough formal bantering I've decided to file a credit card chargeback in an attempt to return and failing that a county court claim for a defective product, because unlike the current one I use heavily which never fell apart after 5 minutes use this one only saw light usage before developing a fault.

"I could not be more please with this company - in every category! But beside the fact that the product was exactly as promised, and in mint condition, I was also given the best customer service I have ever received. It was vital that I find the closest match in "Family Type" for my replacement laptop and the staff went above and beyond in locating the correct laptop for me. Additionally they were very clear about the steps I needed to follow in order to swap some of the interior parts quickly and correctly - I have been in IT work for over 20 years and this resulted in saving me time and wasted effort - bottom line: these people know what they're doing when it comes to laptops! I will be using them again there is no doubt in my mind!"

"There appeared to be some confusion over my address which delayed the delivery slightly, but the delivery was free of charge and I still got the computer inside two weeks so I should not complain too much. I bought a used HP laptop and the product is great. I was concerned about the battery life of a used laptop so I was delighted to find I get about 2.5 hours on a full charge. I would recommend laptopoutlet for anyone looking to save some money on a great used laptop."

"I ordered a refurbished Toshiba Tecra 8000 on Monday April 7th and it arrived on Thursday the 17th. No complaints about that because the shipping was free. The notebook seems to work fine with the exception of the battery. It would not hold a charge at all. Here's where the fun starts. I contacted them by phone to get an RMA for the battery. The wait for a Customer Service Rep wasn't excessive, (about 6 minutes), but her attitude was terrible. She talked down to me and seemed in a hurry to get me off the phone. She told me I didn't need an RMA just to send the battery back and they would replace it. After I insisted on an RMA number she told me to use the order number and that would work. I shipped the battery back UPS 2nd day and they have had it for 6 days now. I have yet to receive the battery and they refuse to answer my emails, (I have sent 3 so far). I finally called yesterday to get a status and was put on hold and then about 10 minutes later disconnected. I have just about had it with them. The product is acceptable for the price I paid but that's where it ends. If you are used to decent Customer Service do NOT shop here, they are rude and you'll play hell getting anything done. I will never purchase another item from them. "

"Purchased 15 laptops from company, 4 were bad with broken speaker, broken case, bad battery, and about 14 missing scews. Sent back 3 laptops and 3 weeks later, they were returned with glewed case and broken key. The broken laptops were promised a week later, but only excuses and smoke were seen for the reason.

No licenses came and they had to be asked for.

Overall, you're better off flushing your money down the toliet and pulling your hair out.
