"I cracked the screen on my old 2017 model acer aspire 5 work laptop that I use in the field for my job. I was torn between replacing the screen and upgrading to a newer model. I did buy the suggested double sided tape from them too and glad I did. The double sided tape they provide isn't a typical double sided tape you'd find at the hardware store I STRONGLY rccmd you buy it if you're replacing screen.
