"After ordering a fan replacement for my laptop with overnight shipping, an item they claimed to have 3 in stock of, they had 2 delayed shipping the item. They did not have it in stock, and after ordering it from their distributor, they revived the wrong item.

So an item I was expecting a day (or two to be liberal) after ordering, wouldn't show up until a month later.

Found the item cheaper, and it will be in three days from another source.

"Placed an order for an Acer Travelmate 2480 Power Button Board Cover and after wainting more than 3 weeks they told me the couldn't get it anymore. In the mean time nobody let me know what was going on. Every time I've called them they never answered the phone nor returned phone calls. The only way to contact them is thru email. Meanwhile they still have the same item listed on their website. If they can't get it anymore they should remove this item from their website. Terrible customer service. Don't buy from this merchant. They also have website www.notebookparts.com "

"NOTICE: LAPZONE IS ALSO NOTEBOOKPARTS.COM

Ordered a Dell U183K inverter for a studio one, their site said it was in stock on the 10th of December. Ordered it and no one called me/no arrival for a week. When I finally called a nice lady said that it was going to arrive the next week, and offered free overnight shipping. This did not happen. I called again, spoke to Bob, who said he was going to do some research and call me back in 5 minutes but never called back.

I called again and spoke to Bob, who then said I should cancel the order. Thanks guys! Give me my money back or I'll make you pay.

"1. I need a replacement system board for my ThinkPad.
2. I order the board online at Lapzone.com; there is no notification that it is
out of stock.
3. I wait, and the board doesn't ship in a reasonable amount of time.
4. I call Lapzone and find out that they don't have the item in stock and are
"searching" for it. I was not notified of either except by calling and asking.
5. When my call is returned I learn that a board supplier has been found and 3
days will be added to the shipping time.
6. Because of the delay, I request free shipping, a shipping upgrade, or both.
I consider asking for an order cancelation but suppose it is faster to wait for
Lapzone than to re-order elsewhere.
7. Lapzone agrees to the shipping upgrade (no refund) in a response by email
to my call.
8. I wait again and the item is finally shipped. The shipment confirmation
mentions nothing about a 2-day shipment, nor does it include a tracking number.
9. I call Lapzone in order to request a tracking number and according to Fedex
the shipment is 2-day.
10. Fedex fails to deliver the package on time considering the upgrade to a
2-day shipment.
11. I request a shipping charges refund from Fedex through Lapzone, but Lapzone
refuses to file a claim with Fedex based on the fact that I initially ordered
Fedex Ground shipping.
12. I discover online that Lapzone's customer review ratings are, in short,
hideous; I become concerned about whether the board I received is
actually new (as claimed) rather than defective or refurbished.
13. I request a guarantee (that the board is new) or refund from Lapzone.
Evidently, Lapzone is unable to provide even any evidence that the board is
new, because they offer only a refund less their "restocking fee" which would
be more than $70. If I accepted that, I would be lacking that amount plus
would still have no replacement system board.
14. I go ahead and install the system board and it seems to work. I have no
idea whether it is refurbished or new, but could have saved some money had I
ordered refurbished from elsewhere. I hope the board continues to work.

"I ordered a lap top fan for a Lenovo Think Pad. After installing it, it was clear it was defective. Also, it did not include thermal grease which is necessary to do an appropriate install. Customer service was somewhat helpful but no very pleasant. I would not order from them again."

"I am the purchasing agent for an investment firm's IT department so I have dealt with many, many vendors. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience as I did with Lapzone. I placed an order for a replacement laptop screen, which was marked "In Stock" when I ordered it. A few days later I received a package. I opened it up to notice the product inside is not what I ordered, nor did it match the packing list. I contacted lapzone and they told me that I was wrong, the product that was shipped was 100% compatible with my laptop (mind you they didn't even know what laptop I had). After I repeatedly told them that the part shipped was not what I ordered they gave me an RMA. I thought it would be a standard, smooth return at this point. I inquired about my refund and I was told that they would not refund my money until they had the product was back in their hands. Even though I thought that was a bit strange I didn't have a problem with it. A few days went by and I was still waiting for my return shipping label. I wasn't about to pay the shipping to return a product I didn't order. I contacted Lapzone and they said it is their standard practice that return shipping is not paid..... even if I didn't order the product. And I was then told a replacement product was shipped out, which proved to be a lie. I don't understand why I would have to pay the shipping for a product I NEVER ORDERED! I had to go as far as call the credit card company and have the charge reversed. If they want their screen back they can either send a return label, or come pick it up at my office. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LAPZONE!"

"I have had a horrible experience w/Lapzone. I needed a new AC adapter for my laptop that decided to break down on me the weekend before my finals in Law School. It was imperative that I received my product on time. I made the order on a Friday and it was supposed to go through the following Monday so it would get to me NEXT business day by Tuesday. When Tuesday came around...no product. I called and they said, "I don't know what happened, I guess it just didn't go through." So they placed my order b/c I had to call and remind them and Fed Ex got it to me the day after that...Wednesday. When I discussed the credit I SHOULD receive b/c of their mishap w/my order, they said they would only credit me $5 (the difference between NEXT DAY and SECOND BUSINESS day). After emailing them back to tell them of my dissatisfaction, they replied w/an automatic reply stating they were on vacation and couldn't get to my problem (they emailed me at 12:45pm telling me I had a lousy $5 credit and at 4:24pm they were on vacation b/c they didn't want to deal w/me...lol).

I would NOT do business w/them again, they are NOT PROFESSIONAL.

"I ordered a laptop keyboard. Received a FedEx tracking# that FedEx could not find any info on. Tryed emailing Lapzone... emails came back undeliverable(even the one on their web site where it says 'leave message'). Called several times, couldn't get through. Left two messages, no return call until several days later.

As it turned out, the FedEx tracking # was actually a USPS tracking #. After I had already cancelled my credit card and had contacted my bank, the product arrived. My bank told me to refuse the keyboard. I did so and then called the company again... this time I got through right away (go figure). The gentlemen offered to resend the keyboard or give me a full refund. I requested the refund which should be showing up on the credit card anytime. It has been a few days, but I am still hopeful that he will indeed come through with the credit. I will keep you all informed.

"I was slightly apprehensive about ordering from these guys as there was little feedback but I shouldn't have worried, the service was excellent. I ordered a replacement battery and accidentally ordered the wrong one. I immediately let them know and placed a new order. They created an RMA for me and let me return the extra battery and they didn't charge me a restocking fee (like their website stated they would). All in all, I was only out the shipping cost from making a mistake. I would order from these guys again without question. Both orders were fast and left their location within 48hrs. "

"I had to order a new AC adapter becuase the small pin broke off my old one. There weren't too many reviews of this site, but since it was the only site that was cheap and had the item number that matched the ac adapter number I needed, I decided to order. Although the shipping cost wasn't the cheapest, I ordered the item at 4:30 PM on Monday, and recieved the exact item at 8:00 AM the very next day (however, the delivery was from MD to NY). This site was very easy to use and had an extremely fast delivery time. I would defintely order again.

Edit: Unlike the previous reviewer I recieved a confirmation email, followed by a shipping and tracking email (a few hours later to my surprise).

"Purchased a replacement keyboard for a four-and-one-half year old HP laptop (not the easiest part to find). Price was favorable, ordering process was strightforward. Confirmation email was prompt, though no followup emails with tracking number. Part arrived in 10 days, as advertised. Installed easily, works perfectly. Overall, a positive experience.
